Does Staples offer free shipping?
Yes, in the brand's own words, they offer "free shipping to 98% of the U.S", with free shipping on all ink & toner items as well as orders worth $35 or more. For any orders that do incur shipping fees, these will be marked on the product page, with fees worked out on a per-order basis and displayed at the checkout. You can also opt for free in-store delivery and go to collect your items if you live nearby one of Staples' brick-and-mortar stores.
What is Staples Easy Rewards?
Easy Rewards is the Staples loyalty program, which is free to join and lets customers earn points on their orders. When you're signed up, you'll earn 1 point for every $1 you spend online, in-store and via the app.
Points can be redeemed at the checkout for discounts starting from a $25 coupon for 5,000. You can also redeem a $50 or $100 coupon for 10,000 or 20,000 points respectively.
You can earn extra points by recycling old products and by participating in activities in the app. You'll also earn 2-3x points on selected items in the bonus points category, which Staples updates regularly.
Does Staples sell refurbished tech?
Yes, you'll find a range of refurbished electronics on the dedicated page on the Staples website. These items are certified to be like-new, come with a warranty, and are sold at 15-50% off versus the usual prices. You'll find laptops, desktops, printers and tech picks for offices & schools. You can even get support setting up your devices from the customer service team.
What is the Staples returns policy?
The Staples returns policy depends on the item. For example, for tech, electronics & furniture, you have 14 days from the date of your purchase to send your item back. This is extended to 30 days for unopened software.
Note that any physical items must be sent back in like-new, resaleable condition and the original packaging to qualify for a full refund. You will also need to make sure you include all parts & accessories, as well as your receipt or packing slip to prove your purchase.

Shop seasonal sales
Staples runs a number of sales throughout the year, with discounts on offer around major holidays such as Black Friday & Cyber Monday, President's Day, July 4th and more. These sales can offer as much as 50% off selected products across the Staples range, so keep an eye out around these times of year for extra chances to save.
Get clearance deals
You can also save by checking for Staples clearance deals, which offer lower prices on the last of selected stock. These deals are only available until the last of the low stock is sold, so make the most of them whilst they're around. This is a great place to find cheaper office supplies and furniture.
Use the AutoRestock program
For supplies you regularly re-buy, using Staples' AutoRestock program can help you save on staying stocked up. Simply find the items you want and click the "Subscribe" button on the product page. You can set the frequency of your subscription, with intervals between weekly and yearly. You'll save 5% on the price of a single product, or 10% (plus free shipping) when you repeat order two items or more.
Download the mobile app
Staples has an app you can download for Android and iOS for free through the respective app stores. The app lets you track your existing orders, scan whilst you shop in Staples stores, view receipts, and manage your Easy Rewards points. You'll also be able to access coupons and codes you'll only find through the app to help lower the price of your orders.
Sign up for emails
If you want to keep up with the latest news from Staples, including info on products & promotions, you can sign up for the email newsletter for free through the footer of the brand's site. You'll also be sent exclusive members-only offers to help you save extra money on your orders.

Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.

For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).

How we make money
When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.
