The Samsung S95F offers a unique experience with its anti-reflection screen, meaning you can watch an OLED TV in a bright room without distractions. It also delivers stunning picture quality with bold colours, a full suite of gaming features and a sleek design. This deal takes the 55-inch model down to £1,499, an excellent low price.
Of the OLED TVs I fully reviewed, the one that left the biggest impression was the LG G5, which I gave a five-star rating in my LG G5 OLED TV review. This TV uses an innovative new “four-stack” OLED panel that delivers an exceptionally bright picture, and it looks equally good when watching movies and sports, or when gaming.
Another TV I reviewed that uses the same four-stack OLED panel as the LG G5 is the Panasonic Z95B. This TV also has high brightness capability for an OLED, though Panasonic chose to tamp the brightness down a bit in favor of picture accuracy when the TV’s Movie or Filmmaker Mode picture presets are active. The Z95B also has a built-in 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos speaker array that’s potent enough that you could do without a soundbar.
I also reviewed the Sony Bravia 8 II, which notably improves upon its Bravia 8 predecessor with a brighter QD-OLED display panel. Similar to the Bravia 8, the Bravia 8 II has great built-in sound, along with gaming features that provide maximum compatibility with PS5 consoles.
While I didn’t review the LG C5, I did get to spend some hands-on time with it, and while it’s not a big upgrade on its LG C4 predecessor, it’s still a fantastic mid-range OLED option, with solid overall picture quality and extensive gaming features.
I also didn’t personally review the Samsung S95F, but I have hands-on experience with it and can vouch for its five-star rating. From its high brightness to its unmatched anti-reflection screen, this is a fantastic all-around TV.
Finally, we have the LG B5. I also saw LG’s entry-level OLED TV in action, and was generally impressed with its picture quality. It’s a great TV for gaming, and has a similar feature set to the step-up LG C5. If you can afford it, I’d opt for the C5 for its brighter overall picture, but the B5 is still a great way to get an OLED TV for cheap, especially on Cyber Monday.
