FAQs
Does DJI offer free shipping?
Yes, all orders to addresses in North America over $149 come with free standard shipping, which is shipped with FedEx, DHL or UPS and should arrive within 3 - 7 business days. Fees for orders under this total will be calculated on a per order basis at the checkout.
If you want to receive your items sooner, you can also opt for express shipping on select orders to selected addresses. Delivery times will vary, but if your items do not arrive within 3 business days, you're entitled to a refund of the additional fee (unless delays are caused by unforeseen circumstances, or you cancelled your order).
Does DJI offer a student discount?
Yes, students (as well as anyone working in education or for a non-profit) can save on their DJI orders through the brand's education discount program. Head to the dedicated portal and verify your status with a valid education (or non-profit) email address, and you'll be able to purchase selected items at 10% off.
Businesses can also save on their purchases through the brand's enterprise program, found through the same dedicated portal on the DJI website. However, these do not offer a flat rate discount, with savings worked out on a per-item basis. Just navigate to the 'Enterprise' tab to see what's currently available.
Is there a DJI app?
There are several. Many of the brand's drones are compatible with companion apps, such as DJI Fly for Mini, Air and newer Mavic series models, DJ Mimo for handheld models such as the Osmo Mobile and Pocket, and DJI GO for older models including the Phantom and Original Mavic Pro.
There is also a DJI Store app, which allows customers to place and manage orders on the go. Using this app also gives you exclusive perks such as early access to new products, extra credit rewards on order, easy after-sales support and device management, and access to the DJI Forum and tutorials.
However, DJI apps are primarily optimized for iOS, meaning many (but not all) of its apps aren't available for Android - although the DJI Store app is available through the Google Play store, users will have to download files equivalent to the Fly, Mimo and Go apps for their device through the brand's website.
What is the DJI returns policy?
Should you decide you no longer want your DJI order, you can send it back to the brand up to 30 days after receiving it in exchange for a refund. Items will need to be sent back unused and in their original condition and packaging, with all gifts, manuals and accessories included, in order to qualify for a refund. You will also be expected to arrange and pay for your own returns shipping, and to make sure your item reaches DJI within 7 days of notifying them of your intention to return it.
DJI Saving tips
Shop the seasonal sales
Watching out for seasonal sales is the best way to save on your DJI purchases. The brand runs promotions around major holidays such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and Labor Day, as well as around the start of spring and summer. Here at TechRadar, we keep an eye on the latest discounts DJI is offering, and have previously seen up to 50% off their range during these events - check back here around key times of year to see all the latest available offers.
Buy official refurbished
If you don't need your devices to be brand new, you can shop the DJI official refurbished range to get up to 20% off tech including drones and handheld cameras. Items sold here are tested, checked and cleaned by the brand's team before being sold, with the standard warranty applicable to all orders to cover you against any faults and defects.
Use DJI Credit
DJI Credit is the brand's online rewards currency, which is automatically earned on all purchases made when you're signed in to a DJI account. Accounts are free to set up, and for every order you place, you'll earn 1% of the total value back, with credits then applicable at the checkout for discounts.
To see your credit balance, simply sign in to your account and click "My Account". Note that on discounted purchases, you will only receive credit on your order total minus the discount (i.e. using a coupon for $50 off a $500 order will mean you only earn 1% credit on $450, and therefore $4.50 worth of credits).
Subscribe to emails
You can stay up to date with all the latest info on the DJI range by subscribing to the brand's email newsletter free through the site. Just provide your chosen email address and you'll start being sent regular updates on products and promotions, plus you'll have the chance to test out new products completely free.

How we source coupon codes
Whether it's through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes. Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.
How we test coupon codes
Each coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You’ll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products & services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don’t list any user-specific or one-time codes.
We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the ‘Get Code’ button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text below the code and expanding the code area.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.
The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click “View terms and conditions” to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).
If you’re still having issues using your code, you can email our customer service team on coupons.techradar@futurenet.com. Include as many details as possible - such as which code you used and which coupon page it’s listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.
How we make money
When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.
Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won’t pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket - you’ll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.
