The Roku Streaming Stick HD is a basic streaming stick that offers plenty at this low price of $15. It draws power directly from the TV's USB port, so you don't need to plug it into a wall. The Roku remote lets you directly control your TV's basic functions, so you don't need to swap between remotes, either. Our reviewer also praised the easy-to-use interface that lets you pick popular apps straight from the opening menu. At half of its original price, the lack of 4K resolution support is also easier to ignore.

When we say the Roku Streaming Stick is wire-free, we mean that it doesn't need to plug into an outlet to work like the typical streaming stick and draws power directly from the TV's USB port. The interface, the Roku menu that pops up when the TV is open, groups popular apps together on one screen, so you can choose what you want to use quickly without hopping page to page.

The Roku remote also cuts down the number of remotes you need to use to control your TV--at least, what you would need for everyday things. It can power up your TV, tune the volume, adjust brightness, and activate voice control directly using the Roku remote.
