PSG vs Newcastle preview

There's everything to play for in this season's 'Group of Death' as we enter the final stretch of the Champions League group stage – and the result here in Paris tonight could have huge implications on who goes through to the knockouts.

PSG are sitting in their usual place at the top of Ligue 1 but have experienced familiar troubles in their ongoing quest for Champions League glory. Two wins and two defeats leaves them trailing Borussia Dortmund in Group F with two games left to play – the final one against BVB at the intimidating Signal Iduna Park. With things so finely poised, PSG will want to avenge their defeat on Tyneside last month and hope AC Milan don't win at the San Siro to book their place in the next round.

With Newcastle sitting bottom of the group on just four points, that ecstatic night at St. James' Park, when PSG were thrashed 4-1, now seems like a long time ago. Fortunately Group F is so tight that Eddie Howe's side are still in with a chance of qualification for the knockouts, although if they lose at the Parc des Princes their Champions League dream will be over. That's already a daunting prospect, but Newcastle are also struggling with injuries more than most, with a whole raft of first-teamers ruled out. Can they give the Geordie faithful some belief here tonight?

Here's how the sides line up:

Paris Saint-Germain: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Skriniar, Danilo, Hernandez, Ruiz, Ugarte, Lee, Dembele, Kolo Muani, Mbappe.

Newcastle United: Pope; Trippier, Lascelles, Schar, Livramento; Joelinton, Miley, Guimaraes; Almiron, Isak, Gordon.

It’s going to be a raucous night in the French capital, with two passionate sets of fans and players going at it. Read on as we explain how you can get a PSG vs Newcastle live stream wherever you are, and watch the Champions League online.

How to watch Champions League football from outside your country

We've set out how you can live stream Champions League football in a number of countries around the world. However, if you're away travelling, you probably won't be able to watch the UCL like you normally would at home. This is the result of geo-blocking - best understood as digital borders that restrict certain services and content to specific parts of the world.

A good streaming VPN can let you get around these digital borders, while also offering robust protection from cybercriminals and government snooping. They're also very easy to use.
