I'm obsessed with these Dyson hair gadgets – here's where to buy an Airwrap, Supersonic or Airstrait at its lowest price this Black Friday

One big perk of my job as a TechRadar Homes Editor is that, amongst all the vacuum cleaner testing, I also get to try out all of Dyson's haircare gadgets. I'm obsessed with quite a few of them, but they don't come cheap – which is why events like the Black Friday sales are worth taking full advantage of.

There are some especially strong Black Friday Dyson deals this year, and amongst the best offers are some steep price-drops on the 'Amber Silk' versions of its hair styling tools. This is a particularly classy limited-edition colorway that's inspired by vaguely festive things like champagne, "the ember glow of fires" and "the enduring beauty of the season" (those are quotes from the press release; I didn't come up with it them).

Today's best Dyson haircare Black Friday deals

Dyson Airwrap i.d.
Save 23%
Dyson Airwrap i.d.: was $649.99 now $499.99 at Amazon

This is my favorite of Dyson's styling tools, and it's at a new lowest-ever price, with $150 off. The Airwrap uses air to create curls without the need for extreme heat, and this i.d. version has a switch that automates the curl-wrap-cold shot sequence for you. As I explain in my Dyson Airwrap i.d. review, it's a game-changer when it comes to creating perfect curls with minimal effort. Even if you're in a rush or not especially skilled at styling (raises hand) it's difficult to go wrong.

Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer
Save 27%
Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer: was $549.99 now $399 at Amazon

There's over $150 off the Supersonic Nural, matching the lowest price on record for this model. This can't create curls on straight hair (as the Airwrap can) but it can do just about anything else, with its range of magnetic attachments. There's a Scalp protect mode where it maintains what feels like a constant temperature on your scalp, no matter how close or how far it is away from your head, and attachment memory for seamless swapping as you style. Dyson Airstrait
Save 27%
Dyson Airstrait: was $549.99 now $399.99 at Amazon

The Airstrait has had a $150 discount for Black Friday, taking it back down to its lowest-ever price. This innovative straightener can be used on wet hair; rather than hot plates it uses blades of directed air to flatten out your your locks as it dries them. I haven't used this gadget myself, but my teammate Josie has, and she was impressed with how it left her hair smooth yet natural-looking. It's better for your hair health than traditional straighteners.

Dyson Airwrap Origin
Save 27%
Dyson Airwrap Origin: was $549.99 now $399.99 at Amazon

If you're on a slightly tighter budget, my hot tip is to go for an older version of the Dyson tools. There's 27% off the Airwrap Origin, which equates to $150 off list price. While I've seen this deal before on a few occasions, it's never been cheaper. This version doesn't have the i.d.curl switch that automates the curling sequence, so it requires more input from you, but with a bit more effort you can achieve the same results as the i.d. version.
