The best Black Friday Lego deals: Star Wars, Technic, Friends, Harry Potter, Duplo and more on sale

Black Friday Lego Deals
Black Friday Lego Deals (Image credit: Future)

Quite a few of the top Black Friday Lego deals have sold out now, only to be replaced by great Cyber Monday Lego deals on other sets - some price cuts linger on, but many more have finished.

Loads of kits have been reduced from Lego Star Wars and Lego Technic classics to newer sets from Lego Friends and Lego Super Mario lines. These price cuts affect both super-expensive sets and affordable smaller builds, and we've hunted them all down for this round-up.

Below you'll find listed loads of Black Friday Lego deals from various retailers across the US and UK (If you're based elsewhere, scroll down, and you'll find some prices in your region).

We haven't listed all the Lego deals we've found across the Black Friday sales, as there are hundreds - instead, we've scrutinized each deal to make sure it's worthy. We cut deals that weren't saving much money, or didn't equal previous discounts on the set, and of course we remove sold-out kits as soon as we see them go.

We've tried to make sure the deals below touch-base on a wide range of different themes, including popular franchises like Lego Harry Potter and Lego Star Wars, sets based on real life like many Lego Technic or Lego Architecture builds, and plenty of Lego Creator and Lego Classic sets too.

We've also made sure there are builds of various prices, so if you're looking for an affordable gift or expensive treat you're sorted.

This Black Friday we're seeing big discounts on Lego's 2020 suite of sets, including on Lego Super Mario and newer Lego Creator kits in particular. Some of the beloved big builds are subject to discounts too, like the Lego Star Wars Star Destroyer and the Lego Creator rendition of Old Trafford stadium, though they're still pricey after these discounts.

One thing we're not seeing a Black Friday Lego deal on is the Colosseum set, which is actually new and went on sale on Black Friday itself. A sale on that would be a bit early, though we're crossing our fingers it sees discounts later on because it looks fantastic despite its high price.

If you're looking for more than just Lego sets this weekend we've also got a Black Friday toy roundup and guides on Black Friday smartwatch deals, Black Friday tablet deals and more.

So without further ado, here's our compiled and curated list of the best Lego Black Friday deals that you should consider.

When will more Black Friday Lego deals be available?

Official Black Friday Lego deals are most likely to hit around November 27, the official date of Black Friday in 2020. Until then, we're deeming the discounts we see 'early Black Friday deals'.

However, retailers like Walmart in the US and Argos in the UK have been known to offer reductions as soon as two weeks before the big day in the lead up.

It's reasonable to assume that this year's releases will be the most popular Black Friday Lego deals. That means the latest Star Wars sets will be particularly competitive, as will the Trolls World Tour, Mandalorian and Avengers sets released in 2020. However, Harry Potter and Minecraft sets also prove popular over the shopping weekend as well.

Ahead of Black Friday, Super Mario Lego sets were also discounted, and it stands to reason that range will get great reductions too.

Black Friday Lego deals 2020: what to expect this year

Amazon might be one of the best places to look for Lego deals on Black Friday 2020, but there may also be some big discounts at other big retailers including Walmart and Best Buy in the US, and John Lewis and Argos in the UK.

Lego itself has yet to give any hints about what playsets it'll be discounting in its official store, but it's worth bookmarking its official Black Friday pages (in the US and the UK) to make sure you're ready when the first offers drop.

If you can't wait, there are some great offers available all year round, including sales and deals on a wide range of sets and accessories. Check out today's special Lego deals in the US and the UK for more details.

TechRadar is scouring every retailer and rounding up all the top deals over the Black Friday period, and we’ve put all the best Black Friday deals and Cyber Monday deals in easy-to-navigate articles to help you find the bargains you’re looking for.
