The JBL Vibe Beam are good budget earbuds that offer 32 hours of battery life for under $30. Other strengths include fast-charging, which gives you two hours of playback in just ten minutes, and the dust and water-resistant IP54 rating for the buds (IPX2 for the case). While we haven’t reviewed this specific model, we have tested enough JBL earbuds and audio gear to know this should satisfy listeners who care mostly about paying a low price just to get the basics and a long-lasting battery.

The JBL Vibe Beam last up to 32 hours between both the buds and the case. That’s more than a full day of listening – more than likely two, since many people use earbuds for only a portion of the day. If you need playback fast, you can even get two hours back with 10 minutes of speed charging.

The Vibe Beam also have an IP54 rating for the buds themselves, which should be able to survive splashing and rain, and keep out debris like sand on the beach.

We haven’t tested the JBL Vibe Beam, but we have tested numerous other JBL earbuds that we’ve recommended on the site. With that in mind, the JBL Vibe Beam makes a great travel buddy with the value it offers for under $30. You also get three sizes of eartips to customize your comfort and a USB-C to USB-A cable for your convenience, too.

Ultimately, you get what you pay for with the JBL Vibe Beam buds, so you won’t get premium features like active noise-cancellation or Spatial Audio. If you want the best of the best (and are ready to pay for it), check out our picks for the best earbuds and the best noise-cancelling earbuds.
