Watch Hull City vs Middlesbrough live streams in a match often dubbed ‘the richest game in football’. Both sides will be desperate to gain a victory at Wembley Stadium that would not only secure promotion to the Premier League but also earn as much as £200m in extra income.

What a 10 days it has been for Middlesbrough. Beaten over two legs by Southampton in the semi-finals, they learned on Tuesday that they had been reinstated and would contest the final after the Saints were thrown out due to spying on three clubs during the Championship season. Kim Hellberg’s side went straight back to training on Wednesday and will now aim to take full advantage of the decision by gaining a victory that would see them back in the top flight for the first time since 2017.

It’s been a similar rollercoaster for Hull. Having ended a run of six games without a win by beating Norwich 2-1 just to make the play-offs, they beat Millwall 2-0 over two legs and were preparing to face Southampton. Instead, they face a Middlesbrough side that beat them 4-1 at the MKM Stadium. Sergej Jakirović’s side did win the last meeting 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium, but the last-minute change of opponent must have caused some disruptions. They’ll have to refocus quickly if they hope to seal a return to the Premier League.

Here's how to watch Hull City vs Middlesbrough in the 2025/26 EFL Championship play-off final from anywhere in the world.
