Which Samsung phone is right for you?
Obviously, this isn't a simple question. Samsung has been around for a long time now, spouting out endless lists of handsets. But, the easiest way to break them up is into the three main styles Samsung makes - the Galaxy 'S' range, Note collection or affordable 'A' devices.
Below we've split Samsung's entire range into these three categories for you to compare. The 'S' series is Samsung's most popular, offering stylish designs, high-end specs and top software.
The Note range tends to be Samsung's most costly. They are the largest devices from Samsung and come with a S pen - a stylus to use with your phone. They are high-tech and seriously powerful.
Finally, Samsung's A series is...well, affordable. They're not as high-tech as the two above but they are far cheaper. And with Samsung's 2020 A series handsets now available they are actually surprisingly powerful considering what you're paying.
Compare Samsung Galaxy 'S' deals
As we said above, these tend to be Samsung's most popular collection by a long way. Currently, Samsung Galaxy S21 deals are the most recent but won't be launched for a few more days.
The most up to date (that is currently available) is the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. They have leading screen-technology, great cameras, amazing processors and some strong battery power.

Samsung Galaxy S10
A year old but still an absolute powerhouse
OS: Android 9.0 | Screen size: 6.1-inch | Resolution: 1440 x 3040 | Memory: 6GB Ram | Weight: 157g | Dimensions: 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm | Storage: 128/512GB | Battery: 3400mAh | Rear camera: 12+12+16MP | Front camera: 10MP
The Galaxy S10 has been out for over a year now and it is safe to say we love it. Before the S20 range came along it was our favourite handset on the market and it is still a top-notch choice. With a tonne of unique features including a truly notchless infinity screen, reverse charging and triple cameras, this really is the best of what Samsung can do.

Samsung Galaxy S10e
Samsung's budget competitor to Apple's iPhone XR

There's no doubt about how excited we were to see the return of Samsung's budget range. Not that long ago the Korean phone giant used to release 'mini' models of their phones - enter the S10e.
At a much cheaper price than its two bigger brothers - the S10 and S10 Plus - this phone is the perfect alternative to the prices we're now seeing for top smartphones, especially if you get the S10e SIM-free.
It doesn't really even loose out on the features of the S10. You still get a flat infinity screen, dual sensor cameras and a strong processor.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
The S10 range but Lite in price
OS: Android 10 | Screen size: 6.7-inch | Resolution: 1080 x 2400 | Memory: 6/8GB Ram | Weight: 186g | Dimensions: 162.5 x 75.6 x 8.1mm | Storage: 128GB | Battery: 4500mAh | Rear camera: 48+12+5MP | Front camera: 32MP
We're not entirely sure how the S10 Lite fits into the Samsung line-up and yet, we're happy to have it! It takes a lot of what was great about the S10 in style and specs but dampens them down a bit to get a better price. But not everything is stripped back, the battery is bigger and the camera set-up has been strengthened.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
A bigger, more refined Galaxy S9
OS: Android 8.0 | Screen size: 6.2-inch | Resolution: 1440 x 2960 | Memory: 6GB Ram | Weight: 189g | Dimensions: 158.1 x 73.8 x 8.5mm | Storage: 64/128/256GB | Battery: 3500mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 8MP
The S9 is a brilliant device, therefore the S9 Plus didn't have to change too much. It pumped up the size (hence the plus) and added a few new features like an additional camera, a better battery and a pumped up processor. For the tiniest price increase, fans of larger phones should definitely choose this over the S9.

Considering the jump between the S7 and the S8, this feels like the biggest advancement Samsung has made in a phone yet. Removing the bezels and producing Samsung's first infinity screen, the Galaxy S8 offers high-end Samsung at a much lower-end price.

The Galaxy S8...but bigger and better

Yes the Galaxy S8 is a great phone but the S8 Plus did what all the Plus devices do, it made it bigger (shocking, we know). Okay but seriously it did make some major improvements, mainly to battery power and pure processing ability so your phone isn't lagging compared to Samsung's newer devices. This is one of the cheaper ways to get one of the phablet Samsung phone deals.

Compare Samsung Galaxy Note deals
Samsung's Note series isn't for everyone. They're big, they're expensive and for some, the S pen may prove to be irrelevant. However, for others this will be the ideal phone. It is unique and perfect for both creatives and business people.
Big specs and big sizes make these devices perfect for intensive activities and the S pen is genuinely incredibly useful in a number of tasks.

While it is pricey, this is one of the best smartphones on the market right now.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20
Samsung's latest and greatest Note device
OS: Android 10 | Screen size: 6.7-inch | Resolution: 1080 x 2400 | Memory: 8GB Ram | Weight: 192g | Dimensions: 161.5 x 75.2 x 8.3mm | Storage: 128/256GB | Battery: 4300mAh | Rear camera: 12MP + 64MP + 16MP | Front camera: 10MP
The Note 20 launched with a price lower than last year's Note 10. Despite that, it saw some small but incremental upgrades to the 'S' pen, size and a number of other crucial areas. It did however cut some other specs to get that price down. Most evidently is the reduction in screen specs and the loss of a curved display.

Much like the S10 Lite above, this was a bit of a surprise upon launch. However, considering the hefty price tag on both the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, this one makes a bit more sense. It takes the best bits of the Note 10, mainly the pen, and drops the price right down.

Compare Samsung Galaxy 'A' deals
The main point of the 'A' series is the affordability. They cost far less than both the Note and 'S' series but still offer some genuinely great specs. If you like the style, design and ethos of Samsung but the prices put you off, this will be the obvious way to go.
