Does Cricut offer free shipping?
Customers can get free shipping on many orders over $50, usually on the brand's machines, as well as free shipping with a paid subscription to Cricut Access (either through a regular coupon on the Standard tier, or as a membership perk if you're signed up to Premium). Keep an eye out for free shipping marked on the product page before heading to the checkout to see what's on offer.
What is Cricut Access?
Cricut Access is the brand's paid subscription service and offers customers a range of designs & design resources such as images & fonts to work with to create their own designs. There are three tiers available, each tier providing different benefits.
First, there is a free tier, which lets you access just over 3000 images, 100 fonts and 250 ready-to-make projects to get you started. You'll also be able to create up to 5 collections and make purchases of additional resources through Cricut's digital store.
If this proves a little limited, you may need to opt for one of Cricut's paid plans. The first, the Standard tier costs $9.99 per month (or $7.99 if you pay for a year) and allows you to access more than 1 million images, over 1,200 fonts, and more than 100,000 ready-to-make projects.
Standard membership also gives you access to unlimited collections, plus 10% off licensed images you want to purchase but don't currently have access to, as well as a $10 coupon including free shipping every 3 months and 10% off all orders (digital or physical).
Finally, the Premium tier includes all the benefits of Standard, but gives you extra perks to help you save, with a 20% discount on all materials and free economy shipping on all orders over $50. Premium is only available on an annual plan and costs $119.98 per year.
What are Cricut mystery boxes?
Occasionally, you'll see Cricut selling mystery boxes as part of a partnership with a selected brand, such as Pixar, and they're usually themed around a specific brand or design (such as Pixar's Cars). Mystery boxes are digital bundles jam-packed with original designs, giving you access to several sets of assets to use in your own creations. They generally act as early access for designs that will eventually end up on the general store, but are effectively offered with bundle discounts to help you save. The brand tends to produce new mystery boxes each month, so look out for new partnerships regularly to catch your favorites.
Do Cricut devices come with a warranty?
Yes, as standard, most Cricut devices come with a 1-year limited warranty protecting you against faults and defects. However, materials and accessories are not covered by a warranty. To see the details of any warranties related to products you have purchased, simply sign in to your account and find the "Product Documentation".
What is the Cricut return policy?
Cricut is quite strict with its returns, giving customers 5 days to notify the team if they want to return any non-defective items as standard. However, it also offers a 45-day satisfaction guarantee on selected products, allowing you to get a refund on your item if you aren't 100% happy with the quality offered. Note that in either case, you will need to arrange and pay for your own returns shipping.

Cricut regularly runs sales discounting its machines and materials, with materials commonly up to 90% off and devices discounted by as much as 25%. Check for clearance deals
You can also save on materials by checking the Cricut clearance range, where the brand sells off the last of stock it wants to shift at a discount, meaning up to 90% off selected materials for a limited-time. Expect these to mainly cover the likes of vinyl, card and paper, with bundles thrown in for good measure.
Get a military or teacher discount
If you're a member of the military looking to save on your Cricut order, you can get 15% off with the brand's military discount, entitling you to lower prices on devices including the Maker 4, Explore 4, Joy Xtra and Venture, as well as an extra 15% off materials and accessories. Just verify your status with gocertify to get started. This discount is also offered to teachers - as with members of the military, sign in through gocertify before heading to the checkout to access your deals.
Buy a bundle
Speaking of bundles, these are a great way to save if you're in the market for multiple products, and can be especially handy if you're just getting started. Bundles often include machines such as the Venture, Joy 2 and Explore 5 with a whole range of materials as well as a Cricut Access subscription, and can bring prices down by as much as $250 depending on the bundle you choose.
Buy refurbished
Don't need a brand new machine? You can also save by opting for a refurbished or open-box cutter through the dedicated section on the Cricut website for up to 45% off the usual price. These deals can also include bundles, but are subject to stock, as they rely on returned and restored products. You won't have to worry about lower quality, either - every machine is tested and inspected before sale to ensure it works like new. At most, you'll see minor cosmetic damage, plus you'll be covered against any faults or defects by the brand's 1-year warranty.
