Angry Singular silence over iTunes 9 failures

What is going on ? No matter where I look online there is a singular silence on iTunes 9.

The latest download has been a massive cockup as can be seen by 20-25K posts on the Apple Forum complaining about various problems yet there has been nothing seen on Tech Radar and various other publications.

Are so many complaints of so little significance that the tech publications ignore it ? Are they afraid of their advertising revenue ?

If the press do not support the individuals what hope is there to obtain a speedy solution to the problems

Well there's an update available now anyways so this should fix most of the bugs people were complaining about. Plus it gives back the choice of either a black or white background in grid view

They don't like to criticise apple on this site. Something to do with the Macformat boys being bigger or something

Im sorry but GO! iTunes and iPods in general, the Zune is not even available to buy over here yet so wheres the support for when you've got problems. Plus the sharing features a bit pointless if you've imported one as who are you going to share with?

"If Zune were going to make a strong move against the iPod, it already would have," - The Guardian

I'm sorry but that thing is now ready to be put to sleep before it even comes over here as its barely changed much from the original and with sales falling it seems more likely. But with Apple's digital player sales falling thats kind of a sign that if the market leader is losing sales then general all purpose players like iPods and Zunes will be ousted for multi purpose devices like iPhones etc.

Well I have used both so my opinion is based on experience of both and plenty of people on this country have Zunes. It just takes a gramme of effort to think outside of the ifanboy box. As for barely changing from the original, well, you really should do some research, and take a look at windows mobile 6.5 and soon to be 7.0. You won't recognise it as you've not bothered to look outside of your experiences but its a similar interface to the Zune. Its like the iphone UI on any phone that wants it though.

I have the iphone and think its great but I'm objective enough to see faults in even my chosen technology and strengths elsewhere as lets be honest, Apple have chosen other people's ideas and improved them to bring many of the innovations we already have.
