AirPods Pro 3 have hit a record-low price of $179 ahead of Prime Day — I doubt these 'near-perfect set of noise-cancelling earbuds' will get any cheaper

Last week, I wrote about Amazon's latest price cut on the excellent Apple AirPods Pro 3. At the time of writing, the buds had just hit $199, which was a match for the record-low price. With Prime Day around the corner, however, I recommended that readers hold off on a purchase for now.

Today, Walmart has just hit back with a new record-low price of $179 (was $249), which I think is an early deal that's good enough to spring for. With a price that smashes the previous record-low by a whopping $20, I really don't see Apple's latest premium earbuds getting any lower than this.

I could, of course, be wrong, but I certainly wouldn't feel bad about picking these up early. Another option could be to wait until Prime Day to see if Amazon price matches, but the sale isn't set to take place until June 23, so you'll be waiting for a few weeks.

Walmart has dropped Apple's AirPods Pro 3 to $179.99, which is a brand new record-low price for the latest buds. Upgrades to the AirPods Pro 3 include improved Active Noise Cancellation and audio, a new comfortable in-ear design, and new features such as live translation and the ability to track heart rate, workouts, and calories burned.

Are the latest AirPods Pro 3 worth it?

We awarded the buds an impressive four and a half stars out of five in our AirPods Pro 3 review, calling them 'near-perfect noise-cancelling earbuds' at the time. They're still a little pricey, no doubt, but not many buds offer such excellent noise cancellation performance as the AirPods Pro 3.

If we had to pick holes, we'd say that the AirPods Pro 3 don't have the best battery life in the world (around 5.5 hours in our testing), but they're almost perfect otherwise. The customizable ear tips provide great comfort and noise isolation, while new features like Spatial Audio, heart-rate monitoring, and live translate mean they're a fantastic pairing with one of the latest iPhones.
