Mint Mobile just bumped up the data allowance on all its plans — and yes, that's for both new and existing customers
Mint is now an even better value if you want a cheap plan
The popular prepaid carrier Mint Mobile has just unveiled that all three of its non-unlimited data plans are receiving a small (but welcome) boost to their monthly data allowance.
Now, the entry-level 5GB plan will get 6GB of data per month, the 15GB plan will now be 17GB, and the 20GB plan will now be 23GB. Impressively, the carrier has bumped up these allowances without touching prices for existing and new customers alike.
That means the same cheap plans starting at just $15 per month, on average for the entry-level 6GB plan. As always with Mint Mobile, you'll get the best prices overall if you get a full year of data upfront. Here's a quick breakdown of the new allowances and prices:
| Row 0 - Cell 0 | 3 Months | 6 Months | 12 Months |
| $30 upfront | $120 upfront | $180 upfront |
| $45 upfront | $150 upfront | $240 upfront |
| $60 upfront | $210 upfront | $300 upfront |
Unlimited | $75 upfront | $210 upfront | $360 upfront |
Of all the plans, I'd still say that the unlimited data plan at Mint Mobile is my top value pick thanks to its generous 20GB of monthly hotspot allowance. With the increased data values on the other plans, however, they're definitely a competitive option now if you just want to cover the basics.
Note that the carrier does have a few deals right now that can knock some cost off most of the above. For example, new customers can currently get $15 off any three-month plan, which can make the entry-level 6GB plan just $30 upfont ($10 per month average!).
If you're on the lookout for a new phone, then I also highly recommend Mint Mobile's current deals on the latest Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26 series, which are knocking up to $500 off the flagships when you bundle them up with a new plan. See more details on these deals just down below.
Good Mint Mobile deals this week
Mint Mobile: get $15 off any three-month plan at Mint Mobile
Mint Mobile's latest plan deal gets you $15 off any of the carrier's three-month plans. That might not sound like much, but it's enough to try out the basic 5GB plan for just $10/mo — almost like an extended free trial, in a way. If you're thinking about making the switch but don't want to spend a ton before trying Mint, this is definitely a good option.
Samsung Galaxy S26: was $900 now $400, plus one year of unlimited data for $15/mo at Mint Mobile
Mint Mobile's current deal on the Galaxy S26 series is the best I've seen yet from the carrier. Not only can you get $500 off both the standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but you'll also get an additional discount of up to $400 off with a trade-in. As a side bonus, the carrier will also throw in a full year of unlimited data for just $180 upfront, which is half the usual price.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: was $1,300 now $800
Google Pixel 10: was $799 now $299, plus one year of unlimited data for $15/mo at Mint Mobile
Mint Mobile has toyed with discounts on the Google Pixel 10 before, but no deal has quite matched this one. Right now, you can not only get a massive $500 upfront discount, but also a full year of unlimited data for $180 (half price). As always, no trade-ins are needed here, which makes this one a very cheap and very attainable promotion indeed.
Google Pixel 10 Pro: was $999 now $724
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: was $1,199 now $699
