FAQs

How much is a Doba subscription?

Customers will be able to choose from four different plan tiers when they sign up to Doba: Limited, Basic, Standard and Enterprise, each of which offers a different features and benefits. Limited is the cheapest and is tailored to entry-level users (either those new to e-commerce or simply testing out the service). It costs $29.99 a month as standard and supports integration of 1 store integration and up to 30 product listings.

If you're an established e-commerce seller, your business is starting to grow, or you want to support multiple stores, you'll need to look at Basic, which supports integration of 2 stores, up to 250 product listings, and boasts AI-powered inventory syncing features for $59.99 a month.

If you've got more than 2 stores or want to list more products, the next tier to consider is Standard, which comes in at $149.99 a month and upgrades your capability to 5 stores and 1000 listings. If that's not enough, you'll want to opt for Enterprise (which supports up to 15 stores and 2500 listings) for $299.99 a month.

With each of these plans, prices can also be subject to promotional discounts (mainly around Black Friday and Cyber Monday), and you can also get 5 - 15% off by committing quarterly or annually instead of paying monthly - just make sure you've had a chance to trial the service to see if it's right for you before you commit.

Are there any other costs of using Doba?

One other thing to consider after you've chosen a plan: as a dropshipping company, Doba lets you connect with suppliers who can ship products direct to your customers. However, you will need to pay wholesale for inventory, and suppliers may also charge shipping fees on top of this.

Costs will depend on what you're buying and which supplier you buy from, and fees are generally charged whenever one of your customers places an order. Doba lists a number of products available to buy with free shipping through a dedicated page on its site, so use this to source your items to avoid on some of these extra costs.

Can I try Doba before I sign up?

You'll see trials available on selected Doba plans (namely Basic and Standard), but these aren't free. Instead, the platform keeps these low-cost at just 99 cents for the trial period, so it won't cost an arm and a leg to test out the service. How long your trial period will last depends on the tier you test out: choose Basic and you'll get 7 days before you need to pay full price, whilst opting for Standard will leave you 5 days to give its more advanced features a whirl.

Can Doba be integrated with other e-commerce platforms?

Yes, Doba offers full integration with several major e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, Square, and Shift4Shop. It also integrates seamlessly with major online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and TEMU, retailing giants like Walmart and Newegg, and even TikTok's social media commerce platform (the TikTok Shop).

Doba Saving tips

Wait for the holidays

Doba has also been known to run seasonal sales around major end-of-year holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which can discount their usual wholesale product prices by up to 40% depending on the item so you can save on running your store during busy sales. We'll add any info on holiday deals to this page as and when we find them once November rolls around, so make sure to visit this page then to catch the best deals.

Choose the right plan

This might seem like a no-brainer, but the more advanced a tier you choose, the more features it will include, and the more you'll pay for the privilege. Make sure to check which features are included in which tier before you choose - you might find you don't need everything that tier offers for your business.

For example, Doba's second-cheapest tier (Basic) costs between $50.99 - $59.99 a month depending on how long you sign up for, and allows you to integrate 2 online stores, supports up to 250 product listings and 600 inventory items, and also includes AI listing and product management tools.

However, you might only have one store with less than 30 products and less than 20 items in your inventory (especially if you're only just getting started in e-commerce), in which case, you could probably get by on Limited (the cheapest tier). Limited is considerably cheaper than Basic at between $25.49 - $29.99 a month (again, depending on how long you sign up for), which means savings of between $25 - $30 a month.

Sign up quarterly or yearly

One of the easiest ways to save on a Doba subscription is signing up for a quarterly or annual plan rather than the monthly alternative. You'll get 5% off when you pay each quarter or 15% off if you pay each year, so if you already know you're sticking with the service for the duration of a longer plan, this is the best way to lock in a lower price.

Earn through referrals

If you know someone who'd like Doba's service, or you're willing to promote the brand on your own site or socials, you can earn commission to make back a little money. It's free to join the brand's affiliate program through its site, and once you're a member, you'll be sent a unique link to share with potential new customers.

Anyone who uses your link to sign up for a Doba plan will get 10% off their sign-up costs (so long as they pay for a plan within 14 days of creating an account), and you'll earn 15% of the cost of their plan back each month in commission. Commission is paid out monthly via PayPal (or Payoneer), and managed through a 90-day referral portal.

You'll also start to earn more commission on your referrals the more you make - after you've got 5o people to sign up, your rate increases to 20%, then again to 30% once you've hit 150 successful recommendations. Note that you'll only earn commission for the first 3 months of each individual referee's subscription.

How we source coupon codes

Whether it's through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes.

Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.

How we test coupon codes

Each coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You’ll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products & services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don’t list any user-specific or one-time codes.

We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the ‘Get Code’ button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text below the code and expanding the code area.

What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work

Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.

The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click “View terms and conditions” to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).

If you’re still having issues using your code, you can email our customer service team on coupons.techradar@futurenet.com. Include as many details as possible - such as which code you used and which coupon page it’s listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.

How we make money

When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.

Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won’t pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket - you’ll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.
