How fast is Quantum Fiber?

The provider offers up to 940 Mbps symmetrical speed for all plans, with higher limits of up to 8 Gig in select locations in the US, giving you plenty of bandwidth for gaming, streaming and supporting devices. You can check how fast the speeds are in your area by using the brand's service checker.
Is Quantum Fiber available in my area?
Data from the Federal Communications Commission shows that a little over 2% of US households can access Quantum Fiber broadband, with support spread across 16 states and growing. Is there a Quantum Fiber app?
Yes, you can download the Quantum Fiber app for free through the Google Play and Apple App stores. The app lets customize your network name & password, control connected devices (including cutting access to selected guest gadgets), and can also be used to make setting up your broadband easier when your hardware first arrives.
Does Quantum Fiber come with DIRECTV?
You can choose from three different packages which combine Quantum Fiber with DIRECTV, letting you cover your broadband and streaming needs in one plan. The most basic is the Entertainment plan, which includes more than 90 channels such as ESPNS and TNT for $89.99 per month.
If you want more channels, you can upgrade to Choice for $94.99 per month to get over 125 channels including the likes of MLB and Trvl, or you can opt for Ultimate to get over 160 channels, including FXM and NBC Golf, for $124.99 per month.
Note that whichever plan you choose, you'll get a price guarantee for the first 2 years, meaning you'll have 24 months before your bill goes up. You'll also be able to self-install your service, with no need for a satellite dish, so you can start streaming in no time.

Buying Quantum Fiber hardware so you're ready to make the most of your plan? The brand sells essentials such as routers and modems, as well as additional tech like smart speakers, headsets and home security gear. To qualify for the program, you need to fall below a certain income threshold, or be a recipient of a qualified federal aid program such as Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income. You can find guidance on who qualifies for Lifelineon the Lifeline website.
Once you qualify, you can receive up to $9.25 per month for qualifying broadband service and $5.25 per month for voice services under the Standard Lifeline plans, saving you on your bill. There is also a Tribal Lifeline option for native people living on recognized tribal lands, which offers a further discount.
If you qualify, you'll gain access to the Simply Fiber Internet Plan, which offers up to 200mpbs speeds for $30 per month, which represents one of the most affordable options Quantum Fiber has to offer.
Price for life
Part of Quantum Fiber's offer to customers is its 'Price for life' policy, which guarantees, that the price you pay when you first sign up is the price you'll pay for as soon as you're a Quantum Fiber customer. This guarantees you won't be blindsided by any unseen price rises, and you'll keep paying the same rate unless you change plans.
