Is LightPDF free?
There is a free version of LightPDF you can use through the browser, but it only allows access to a limited selection of premium features. You can also get a 3-day free trial on annual plans, giving you a short amount of time to try out premium features before you're required to commit to a paid plan.
How much does LightPDF cost?
LightPDF offers plans for individuals and businesses, with monthly, annual and 3-year options, as well as discounted plans for students, and promotional discounts taking up to 65% off plans for new customers.
For individuals, you can pay monthly for $29.99, yearly for $89.99, or you can buy a lifetime plan for $299.99. Education plans are similarly structured, with prices up to 50% off when you verify. For businesses, perpetual licenses start from $287.89 for 2 users, with prices increasing as you add more users.
Can I get a refund from LightPDF?
Yes, LightPDF offers its customers a money-back guarantee, but how long you've got to do so depends on the plan you choose. For monthly plans, you'll have 3 days. For annual plans, you'll have 7 days. For lifetime plans, you'll have 30 days. Just contact the brand's service team before your money-back period is over to initiate the refund process.

Get introductory discounts
LightPDF offers discounts on plans for first-time customers, with up to 65% off available when you first sign up. You'll generally save more with new joiner offers when you choose longer plans. For example, new customers who pay monthly get 34% off, whilst choosing an annual plan will get you 45% off, and 65% off is available for lifetime licenses.
Save with longer plans
If you can afford a higher upfront cost, choosing a longer plan works out cheaper. For example, an annual individual plan usually comes in at $89.99, whereas monthly plans are usually billed at $29.99 per month, so committing for 12 months will only cost you the equivalent of three months paying monthly.
If you're not convinced LightPDF is the service for you, you can get your money back within 7 days of making your purchase if you chose a monthly or yearly plan. You can also opt for a lifetime membership starting from $299.99, which comes with a longer money-back guarantee period.
Get a student discount
Students can save up to 50% on their LightPDF plans when they verify their status with Student Beans. Discounts are available for students, graduates and teachers, and include 30% off monthly plans, 40% off annual plans, and 50% off lifetime memberships. To get your discount code, simply sign in to your Student Beans account through the brand's website.
Join the affiliate program
If you'd like to earn money by promoting LightPDF, you can sign up to be a brand affiliate. Once you've joined the program, you'll be sent a unique link to share on your social media, website, or to send to people you know. Every time someone makes a purchase through your link, you'll earn between 5% and 30% of their order total in commission.
