FAQs

Does Razer offer cashback?

While Razer doesn't offer direct cashback in Australia, you can earn Razer silver through the RazerStore rewards program. When you've accumulated enough Razer silver, you can redeem it for rewards in the RazerStore catalogue.

How do I contact Razer?

In Australia, you'll need to contact Razer directly through the store website. There is a support section filled with answers to questions about warranties, with the ability to raise a ticket if your question isn't answered.

Does Razer provide free shipping?

All orders over AU$129 at Razer include free standard shipping across Australia. Delivery times are between 5 - 7 business days and tracking information is provided when your order is dispatched. If you’re a member of the RazerStore Rewards program, the spending threshold for free delivery can be lowered to AU$59 or no minimum spend, depending on your membership tier. You can also choose to pay for express or priority shipping if you’d like your order to arrive earlier.

How can I return items to Razer?

Razer’s standard returns policy allows you to return items up to 14 days from the date you received your order. The product must be unused and have no visible signs of wear, it must be returned in the original packaging, and include all the bundled accessories or promotional items that may have been included with your purchase. Some specific products, apparel and gaming chairs have a few different rules, so check the full returns and refunds page at Razer for further information.

Do Razer products come with a warranty?

All products ordered directly from Razer come with a limited warranty. The length of time varies depending on the item: one year for laptops, two years for most peripherals and three years for gaming chairs. The warranty only covers defects or manufacturing faults within that time period, not including battery life.

What is RazerCare and do I need it?

RazerCare is the manufacturer’s extra warranty plan that allows you to pay to extend your initial coverage and also add the option of accidental damage cover. At this time, RazerCare is only available in the US, but purchases in Australia are still covered by Razer's limited warranty and any applicable rights outlined under the Australian Consumer law.

Hints and tips

Register for RazerStore Rewards: Before buying anything at Razer it’s worth signing up for RazorStore Rewards. This is a loyalty program that gives you Razer Silver with every purchase – essentially reward points that you can exchange for Razer gear and other exclusive perks. When you join you get a coupon for AU$15 off and a bonus of 1,000 Razer Silver on your first purchase. There are different tiers, too, which you can reach by spending more at Razer. These higher tiers give you more reward points for future purchases and lower the spending requirement for free shipping to AU$59 and, eventually, no minimum order value.

Sign up for the Razer newsletter: A quick and easy way to get AU$15 off your purchase is to sign up for the Razer newsletter. Simply supply your email and you’ll be sent a AU$15 voucher to use on your order – as long as you spend at least AU$160. There’s no obligation to remain signed up once your voucher has arrived, but you will get information on upcoming events, sales and promotions at the Razer Store.

Get savings on the education program: Razer is yet another online store that offers a discount for students. You can get up to 15% off your order through the Razer Education Purchase Program. Either your institution needs to be set up as a Razer partner, or you can use the Unidays service to log in and access discounted goods. Reduced prices are then applied automatically at the checkout.

How we source coupon codes

Whether it’s through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes. Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.

How we test coupon codes

Each coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You’ll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products and services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don’t list any user-specific or one-time codes.

We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the ‘Get Code’ button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text below the code and expanding the code area.

What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work

Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried and tested, sometimes coupons expire or T&Cs are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.

The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click “View terms and conditions” to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multi-buy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).

If you’re still having issues using your code, you can email our coupons team on ecommau@futurenet.com. Include as many details as possible – such as which code you used and which coupon page it’s listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.

How we make money

When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.

Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won’t pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket – you’ll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.

If you want to find out more about TechRadar’s coupons pages, you can visit our dedicated page on How We Source Coupon Codes and How to Use Them for more information.
