With a summer packed full of sport ahead of us, this is the ideal time to upgrade your TV so you’re ready to watch in style. Right now, you can buy the LG QNED70 65-inch QNED 4K TV at Currys for £529 (was £699), which is a great deal on a well-received entry-level QNED TV. It’s part of a wider LG OLED and QLED sale at the retailer, with this being the cheapest 65-inch TV in the sale.

The LG QNED70 65-inch QNED 4K TV is one of the better TV deals around, with some great features for the price. That includes 100% color volume, a Filmmaker mode to improve picture quality, and a Game Optimiser mode too. It’s a good all-rounder for a living room on a budget.

The LG QNED70 is a respectable entry-level QNED 4K TV at a fantastic price in this latest Currys sale. It offers a vivid colour palette that works well in bright rooms, while its a7 Gen8 CPU upscales relevant content quickly and also tweaks sound and picture quality as needed. It’s the TV for anyone who wants an inexpensive out-of-the-box solution for their living space.

LG makes some of the best TVs around and I’m a big fan of its offerings. The LG QNED70 65-inch QNED 4K TV isn’t as feature-rich as much pricier options, but it has the essentials.

Its Filmmaker mode and Game Optimiser are always useful in providing good picture quality. I use both modes with my LG TV and it makes a noticeable difference. This model has three HDMI 2.0 ports, and its Magic Remote is surprisingly easier to use than most other remotes.

It also has a neat feature called AI Brightness Control, so it adapts to the lighting in your room. It isn’t a perfect TV, so if you can afford more, take a look at the other best LG TVs and see what you can stretch to. For a lot of living spaces, though, the LG QNED70 65-inch QNED 4K TV has wide viewing angles and a good picture quality for the price.

If you prefer OLED technology, there are some good OLED TV deals around as well, including those as part of the Currys sale. These tend to cost more but will provide more depth to darker moments.
