How to watch Widow's Bay online
Apple TV’s new horror comedy sees a desperate mayor determined to revive his small island community’s tourism industry — never mind the ancient curse. Keep reading as we explain how to watch Widow's Bay online from anywhere in the world, and potentially for FREE.
Release date: Wednesday, April 29 |

Matthew Ryhs stars as Mayor Tom Loftis, an ambitious if slightly cowardly community ‘leader’ with plans to turn the quaint island town of Widow’s Bay into a booming tourist destination and build a brighter future for his teenage son. Loftis, however, has plenty of obstacles in his way — the island's patchy WiFi and cell coverage, superstitious locals and the increasingly real possibility that the island is cursed.
Through a dogged force of will, Loftis succeeds in his ambitions, and while not quite booming, tourism is definitely happening. However, it soon becomes clear that the superstitions of the locals are more than just fairytales, and it’s not long until the old tales deemed too ludicrous to be true start materialising before the terrified vacationers' very eyes.
Also starring Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root and Kingston Rumi Southwick, Widow’s Bay is executive produced by Ghostbusters (2016) writer Kate Dippold, with horror helmer Ti West on directing duties, among others.
Fusing genuine horror and character-driven comedy, Apple TV’s latest is a must for viewers who like their humour dark, so read on for how to watch Widow's Bay online and from anywhere.
