Does O2 offer free shipping?
Yes, all orders of devices, SIM cards and accessories all come with free home delivery as standard. Your items should arrive on the next working day, with a text sent your way on the day so you know exactly when to expect your order. If you want to choose a specific time slot, you can opt for Premium shipping at the checkout, with prices starting from £5.99.
Does O2 offer coverage in my area?
O2 is proud to offer coverage to 99% of the UK and 85% of the population, with a mix of 3G, 4G and 5G signal across the country. If you want to see how strong the network's signal is in your area before you join, you can use the dedicated coverage tracker on the brand's website to do just that. Just enter your postcode to see a breakdown of strengths for the different signal types the network offers.
What perks do I get with O2 Priority?
As an O2 customer, you'll automatically be entitled to O2 Priority perks, bringing you a whole host of freebies and discounts on food & drink, holidays, cinema tickets and more. You'll find partner deals with the likes of VUE and Greggs, as well as the original main bonus of the scheme - priority access to gigs - with new offers added to the member's portal on a regular basis.
What is O2 Switch Up?
With O2 Switch Up, the network lets its customers swap out their phones up to 11 months after they've purchased them, so you can keep your handset fresh. There's no catch contract-wise, either - the network will pay off the remainder of your contract and recycle your old mobile, plus you can swap out again 11 months too so you can keep up to date with the latest updates.
Does O2 offer data rollover?
Absolutely. if you don't use all of the data in your plan, it automatically rolls over to the next month so you can make the most of the allowance you've paid for. Data rollover is included free with all Plus and Ultimate plans. Note that rollover data only rolls over to the next month - if you don't use it in the following month, it's gone for good.
Does O2 offer EU roaming?
Every O2 plan, from Plus and Ultimate plan, to monthly SIM-only or pay-as-you-go options, comes with EU roaming free as standard, letting you use up to 25GB of data across the EU to save you on additional costs. You can check your current roaming balance by logging in to your O2 account through the site or the app.
Does O2 accept returns?
Should you decide you no longer want your item, you'll have 14 days to send it back to O2 for an exchange or refund (30 days if your item is faulty or defective). All items will need to be returned in their original packaging with all items and accessories originally included. For devices, you'll also need to make sure they're factory reset. Just get in touch with the network to confirm your return, and they'll arrange a free prepaid returns label to cover the cost of shipping.

Wait for sales
O2 runs a number of sales throughout the year, including around the start of summer, Christmas, Black Friday and more. Catching these promotions can net you as much as £1000 off selected handsets, with 50% off chosen plans and accessories to boot. Consider SIM-Only
It's usually more cost-effective to buy a new phone and use one of O2's SIM-only plans. While the upfront cost is higher, you only pay for a data or phone plan, meaning you'll save a lot of money over the long term. With a usual contract, you pay for the value of your phone on top. SIM-only is worth it if you can afford to buy a new phone outright.
Save with O2 Open
O2 Open is the network's answer to NHS and keyworker discounts, offering qualifying employees including teachers, healthcare workers and supermarket employees 25% off airtime contracts when they verify their status and buy a new device. Discounts last for the duration of your plan, and aren't available for Pay As You Go, SIM Only contracts or non-O2 Refresh tariffs.
Trade in old tech
Got old tech you no longer use? You can trade it in via O2 Recycle to earn up to £650 paid direct to your bank account. O2 doesn't just take phones, either - you can also trade in tablets, laptops, smartwatches, earbuds and even games consoles. Just select your device model, give a few details on its condition and tell the network a little about its condition. The brand will give you a quote, and if you're happy to accept, the brand will arrange free shipping, with payments made 3 - 5 days after they receive your device.
Get perks with Volt
Volt is the rewards scheme for O2 and Virgin Media customers, giving you a number of extra perks including double data, free roaming, broadband speed boosts and bundle deals. You can bag bonuses as an O2 or a Virgin Media customer, but you'll get the most out of the scheme as a customer of both, so check the Volt deals to see if any appeal to you.
Use Multisave for multiple plans
If you're looking to take out multiple plans, you can get discounts the more you take out O2's Multisave discount. For every additional plan you take out (up to a total of 20), you'll get an extra 20% off your bill, with savings applicable to both contracts and SIM Only plans. SIMs are available for phones and tablets.
How to use O2 discount codes
- Choose an O2 discount code you want to use from the list at the top of this page.
- Click the "Get code" button next to it to open a new tab where your code will be revealed.
- Copy your code to your clipboard ready to use later, then head back to your previous tab.
- You'll now arrive at the O2 website, where you can search for plans and handsets and add them to your cart.
- When you're ready to order, head to the checkout and find the "Discount code" field.
- Paste in your code and click "Apply", then check your order total has changed accordingly.
- Once you're happy your savings have been applied, continue through the checkout to place your order.
