The other three tariffs on this page just aren't going to cut the mustard if you're a big user of Netflix, Spotify and Facebook away from Wi-Fi (other streaming services and social media are available!). But this is a fantastic price for so much data. Again, it's worth rolling back a year for some context - this kind of tariff would have cost you around £1500 over the two years on release. Google Pixel XL review

Fantastic large screen Android phone is a potential iPhone killer

Screen size: 5.5-inches | Resolution: 1440 x 2560 | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 8Mp | Weight: 168g | OS: Android 7 Nougat | RAM: 4GB | Battery: 3450mAh

Wonderful camera
Pure Android operating system
Excellent, big display
Questionable design in places

Although there was a lot of love out there for the Nexus 6P from Android purists, there was always a feeling that Google needed to produce a genuinely brilliant flagship phone to contend with the likes of Samsung and the iPhone. And that's exactly what the Google Pixel and Pixel XL are.

The larger of the duo, the 5.5-inch Pixel XL is among the very best big screen phones on the market. The bright, bold AMOLED display is fantastic for watching videos on, thanks to its 1440x2560 pixels. The 4GB Ram and Snapdragon 821 chipset means it smoothly handles pretty much any task you can throw at it. And the images the camera produces can be breathtaking. Good for Google and its excellent XL.

Why are Google Pixel XL deals so cheap now?

You don't need to know too much about market forces and supply and demand to come up with a theory for the Pixel XL price drop. The equation goes something like this: iPhone 8 + Galaxy Note 8 = cheap prices on everything else.

While Apple and Samsung prepare to put their brand new flagship phones on the market within a few days of each other this month, we've seen prices fall on a range of other phones. So if you're not exactly chomping at the bit to pay in excess of £1000 for those new models, it's a great time to go for another cheap mobile phone deal instead.
