On the hunt for your next laptop? Regardless of whether you need a machine for work, college, or just casual use, it's worth checking out the official Dell Store. The brand is currently hosting a 'Top Tech Event' this week, featuring discounts of up to $380 off a range of models.
I've been looking through Dell's sale, and there are plenty of decent deals, including machines we've personally tested (and loved) here at TechRadar. Notable shout-outs here include the Dell XPS 13, Dell 14 Plus, and the Dell 16 Plus.
If you're on a budget, I'd recommend starting with the Dell 15 Laptop for $599 (was $699). This machine's combination of a Core 3 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD isn't super high-end, but it'll suffice if you just need something to cover the basics. Say, for browser-based tasks like email, shopping, or streaming video.
If you're looking for something a little more powerful, you could opt for the Dell 16 Laptop for $999 (was $1,099). This machine features a Ryzen 7 chipset and 16GB of RAM, which means it's perfect for intensive applications or a multitude of browser tabs. It's a more basic model in terms of design, but it's packing in serious components.
While we're here, it's also worth mentioning the stunning new Dell XPS 13 for $799. Right now, there's no upfront discount on this machine, but students and teachers can get $100 off via a Dell education discount. If you're eligible, then I'd definitely recommend checking this out, as it's easily one of the best 'back-to-school' deals on the market currently.
