With October Prime Day deals in Australia still going strong (for now), this is a good time to get yourself a new SodaStream.

SodaStream Terra: was AU$119 now AU$79 at Amazon

Its name signifies its worth in helping reduce plastic waste, which we've all been guilty of when we buy bottle after bottle of cola or soda water, even our takeaway food. So save your cash on buying those repeats and make your own fizzy drinks at home. This bundle comes with a 40ml bottle of Bubly flavouring to get you started.

Other colours:
Misty Blue | AU$79
Red | AU$79

The SodaStream Terra isn't particularly fancy, which explains its already affordable list price, but this entry-level fizzer will quickly and easily add some sparkle to tap water at the touch of a button.

It's a lot cheaper than opting for the Breville InFizz Fusion, for example, although this alternative can carbonate anything – and I do mean anything... as long as it's a room-temperature or colder liquid.

The 60L gas canister that comes with the Terra can easily be swapped out at several stores around the country when it's empty, and there are so many different flavourings available now that you can get creative with the drinks you make.

As mentioned, this bundle comes with a lime flavour, but brands like Pepsi and 7UP have partnered with SodaStream to help you make colas at home. There are also generic cola and tonic syrups, kombucha, ginger ale, and other fruit-based syrups available. Drinks at home will never be the same again!

SodaStream is arguably the biggest name in sparkling water makers, having been around for 50+ years! So you know you're getting a product here.
