I'm just interested in a little bit of history of TechRadar
I first remembered seeing an advertisement in T3 magazine years ago and I think thats when the site was called tech.co.uk (I think) Who started the company, when, why etc and what's in the future for TechRadar? |

TechRadar was built on the foundations of an earlier site called Tech.co.uk. It's owned and run by Future Publishing who also own T3 (hence the advert). We felt there wasn't a really good UK news and reviews site for proper tech enthusiasts (as opposed to gadget fans), so a few of us got together and launched it about 18 months ago.
We're growing very fast at the moment and starting to get noticed a bit more now, which is great. So far so good! Lots more to come next year as well. |

Ah I see and very true about the UK tech sites as it feels a lot more relevant when reading articles and stating GBP prices instead of USD and certain ISP's or network carriers that only operate in the UK or Europe such as O2 and Orange instead of Verizon or AT&T
![]() Well thanks for the newly found info and I'll continue to keep reading my most favourite tech site which is Gizmodo?...wait no...Engadget?...no no....Tech Crunch?..nope thats not it....Tech Radar..yes aha! |
