Long-time NCIS fans can be forgiven for thinking that Ziva was dead. The Mossad agent was killed off in S13, which prompted Tony's departure from the show, but not before the bombshell revelation that their will-they won't-they workplace flirtation had borne a daughter, Tali. In S16, it emerged that Ziva had faked her death in order to hoodwink Hamas.
It's taken some wild plot twists to engineer their reunion, but when we catch up with Tony, Ziva and Tali, they're living out their picture-perfect dreams in Paris. That is, until Tony’s security company starts getting some heat.
So begins a cat-and-mouse chase across the continent, and despite being a full-blown family now, Ziva and Tony are all longing looks and fleeting moments again. An escalation has, however, been teased, with Weatherly and de Pablo making headlines by revealing that they rejected an intimacy coordinator for the shoot.
