Sky Documentaries is set to dive deeper than ever before into one of the wildest UFO scandals of all time with The Alien Autopsy Scandal, broadcasting on Sky Documentaries and NOW at 9pm on Friday 12 June.

The hour-long documentary centers on an infamous 18-minute video that appeared in 1995, which supposedly shows three hazmat-suited officials performing an autopsy on an alien recovered from the Roswell crash site in New Mexico.

Though the video in question was debunked soon after release – with one of its creators confirming the hoax later on – the story of the Alien Autopsy video is still a remarkable one, as the video took the world by storm when it was released.

However, the video’s creators maintain that it was inspired by real, lost footage. Sky’s new documentary tells the story of the video’s two creators, Ray Santilli and Gary Shoefield, as they remember it, with all the conspiracies and secret dealings intact.
