FAQs
Is Keeper Security free?
If you just want a very basic edition of Keeper Security, then there is a free version available. This does, however, come with less features and the password manager will only work with one device. If you’re keen to try out what else the software has to offer, it might be better to try the 30-day trial of Keeper Security Unlimited. Then, either cancel at the end of the trial period or roll the sign-up process over into a fully paid-for plan.
How much does Keeper Security cost?
Keeper Security offers a number of plans, with Personal & Family plans, as well as a number of business options available. Personal starts from $3.33 per month billed annually, whilst Family costs $7.08 per month billed annually, but covers up to 5 users.
Business plans vary in cost from $2 to $85 per user each month depending on which tier you choose, with more expensive tiers including more advanced features. Make sure to check what's on offer with each tier and make sure you need every feature before you buy to get the best price.
Does Keeper Security offer a student discount?
Yes, if you’re a student, Keeper offers 50% off its plans when you verify your student status. This can be done by signing in to a valid Student Beans account through the brands site before purchasing a plan. This offer is available when you start a new plan or renew an existing one.
Keeper Security Saving tips
Watch for promotional discounts
Like many retailers, Keeper runs promotions that discount selected plans, with offers available throughout the year, and larger sales usually taking place around key events like Black Friday. Promotional sales can take as much as 50% off selected plans, so keep an eye out for the best time to join if you've yet to sign up.
Choose a family plan
Keeper's family plan offers all the benefits of an individual plan, but allows you to cover up to 5 users for one monthly cost. If you're looking to cover more than 2 people, it works out cheaper, too, meaning you can rack up significant savings if you're covering the maximum of 5 users.
Get a military or professional discount
Military personnel, first responders, nurses, doctors and hospital employees can get 30% off their first 1-year plans when they verify their status. To redeem this discount, simply verify at the checkout by providing your email address and some details about your employment. Once the brand has confirmed your details, your discount will be added to your cart.
Apply for business discounts
If you’re a business user, then keep in mind that Keeper offers special business and enterprise pricing. This should mean that you can save money on the likes of Business Starter, Business and Enterprise products. Better still, a perk of this is that team members get a free family plan, which obviously delivers added value.
Make the most of your free trial
Before you commit to a full plan, the best way to experience what Keeper has to offer is to try the 30-day trial of Keeper Security Unlimited. This means you’ll have access to all of the features and functions, while not having to commit to a contract. If, however, it does fit the bill then simply roll it over into a paid-for package.
Use free tools
Keeper also offers a suite of free tools, which are available to download through its site, to give you extra features you can use instead of or alongside a paid plan. These include personal & business dark web scanners, secure password & passphrase generators, and an encrypted messaging app.

How we source coupon codes
Whether it's through our affiliate networks, the depths of the world wide web, or our connections with big name brands, here at TechRadar we use every tool at our disposal to source the latest codes. Our coupons team updates each of our pages multiple times a week with the most recent deals, including exclusive coupons negotiated by our Commercial team. We also include the latest sales info directly from retailers to offer the most up-to-date discounts around.
How we test coupon codes
Each coupon you find on TechRadar has been tested before being uploaded by our dedicated Deals & Offers teams. You’ll see a range of offers, from free shipping to student discounts, with savings available on all kinds of products & services. To make sure every coupon is ready to use, we don’t list any user-specific or one-time codes.
We also include all relevant information about coupons, such as expiry dates and any terms & conditions, near the ‘Get Code’ button. You can see the details for an individual offer by clicking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text below the code and expanding the code area.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
Although we do our best to ensure all listed codes are tried & tested, sometimes coupons expire or terms & conditions are changed before we can update pages. Our team works hard to make sure our coupons are active and work as intended, and should you encounter an issue when using one, we’ll work just as hard to help.
The best place to start is by checking the requirements. Click “View terms and conditions” to expand the code section and see any guidance on your chosen coupon. For example, you may need to meet a minimum spend, add other items to your basket to qualify for a multibuy offer, or confirm that your chosen code applies to the items in your basket (i.e. 10% off laptops).
If you’re still having issues using your code, you can email our customer service team on coupons.techradar@futurenet.com. Include as many details as possible - such as which code you used and which coupon page it’s listed on so our team can address your issue as fast as possible.
How we make money
When it comes to coupons, TechRadar earns money via a commission-based model. For every brand we have a coupon page for, we’ve negotiated a deal that means we earn a percentage of total basket value in commission back from every order.
Using this model means we can offer our coupons to our customers free of charge. You won’t pay any fees to add your chosen coupon to your basket - you’ll simply pay the final order total once your discount has been applied.
