The 2023 Black Friday deals event officially takes place on November 24 this year, but like in years past, and can expect to see offers as early as October. In fact, it was just announced that a 2nd Amazon Prime Day sale will take place on October 10 and 11, so expect the holiday shopping season to kick off around that time.
Black Friday TV deals are typically some of the most popular offers at the November sale thanks to record-low prices on some of the best TVs on the market, including high-end OLED displays and budget smart sets from brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, Insignia, and TCL. Last year, a record amount of $9.12 billion was spent on Black Friday, according to Adobe Analytics, which means this could be the best year yet to save big on your dream TV.

Black Friday TV deals 2023: key information
When will Black Friday TV deals start in 2023?
Black Friday 2023 falls on November 24. The actual date shifts, but the day of the week stays the same: it's always the Friday after Thanksgiving.
While Black Friday TV deals will officially kick off on November 24, based on years past, we can predict that retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart will launch early sales starting in October. Amazon has also just announced its 2nd Prime Day sale will take place on October 10 and 11, so expect to see early Black Friday deals kick off from other retailers during the two-day sale event and leading up to Black Friday itself.
Thanks to early sales, it's no longer the case that the best Black Friday TV deals are released on the day itself - November 24. In recent years, retailers have released record-low prices on a range of TVs during early sales, allowing consumers to secure a display ahead of Black Friday proper. I'll be analyzing all the early deals listed in this guide, so if you want to avoid shopping on Black Friday, there will still be plenty of impressive bargains to grab before the holiday weekend.
Where will the best TV Black Friday deals be?
I'll be tracking all the best Black Friday TV deals here, so bookmark this page and keep checking back. However, if you'd rather search the sales yourself, there are some retailers we recommend over others.
Amazon is a great source for TVs on Black Friday, consistently holding a wide range of stock covering everything from cheap 4K TVs from its own Fire TV lineup and high-end OLED TVs from brands like Samsung, LG, and Sony.
In the US, Best Buy is a top go-to destination for Black Friday TV deals, with record-low prices on a wide range of 4K, QLED and OLED TVs. Walmart is another favorite retailer during Black Friday, thanks to stunningly low prices from budget brands on big-screen displays. We've listed the best current TV sales from all the top retailers if you're looking to shop for a bargain right now.
Amazon: smart TVs from $79.99
Best Buy: $1,000 off OLED and QLED TVs
Walmart: big-screen 4K TVs from $398

What Black Friday TV deals do we expect in 2023?
What Black Friday TV deals do we expect to see at this year's sale? Last year, the biggest TV deal was on our best-rated TV, the LG C2 OLED, thanks to new record-low prices from retailers like Amazon. It was one of the most popular Black Friday TV deals because you could buy a high-end OLED display at a reasonable price. This year, while we expect to see even deeper discounts on the LG C2, we also have our eye on the 2023 mode, the LG C3 OLED TV. We've already seen impressive discounts of up to $800 / £900 on the 65-inch model, so we're hoping that this year's Black Friday sale will drop the OLED TV to a new record-low price. Other high-end displays we have our eye on this year are Samsung's S95B OLED and the best-selling Samsung The Frame QLED TV.
If you're looking for a budget display, the Black Friday TV deals have plenty of cheap sets on sale from brands like TCL, Insignia, and Hisense. You can score big-screen 4K TVs as low as $399 / £399, but you'll have to act quickly, as the bigger and cheaper the TV is advertised, the faster it sells out.
Amazon also has its own line of mid-range Fire TVs that get significant price cuts during Black Friday. You'll find a range of prices and sizes from Amazon's Fire TV lineup, with prices as low as $79.99 / £99.99.
