The best deals on everyday laptops
Powered by a capable Intel i7-1355U CPU, 16GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB SSD, the HP Laptop 17 also boasts a massive 17.3-inch display – and it’s currently 50% off. That’s a typical discount for this model, but it’s still a solid deal if you’re after a larger-screen machine. The IPS panel offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300-nit brightness, and 45% NTSC colour coverage. It can run for up to 10 hours on a single charge thanks to the 41Wh battery, and it comes with Wi-Fi 6 plus a full-size backlit keyboard with a numpad. To get the full discount here, apply the code FRENZY at checkout.
This compact machine has a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU paired with 16GB of RAM, and can happily take on your daily workload. It also has premium extras such as a 16:10 (1920 x 1200) 13.3-inch touchscreen display with a high 400-nit brightness and 100% sRGB colour reproduction, and a facial-recognition webcam.
This is a cracker of a deal, considering the ThinkBook G8 was AU$1,749 not long ago. Especially since you get the powerful new Series 2 Intel Core 7 240H CPU, 32GB of RAM and a fast NVMe 512GB SSD. The only downside is the display, with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 45% NTSC colour. But if you are connecting it to an external display (or three) via HDMI or Thunderbolt 4, then you won't care.
This larger 15-inch Slim 5 is hard to recommend at the AU$2,259 web price, but the discount here makes it an excellent deal. It uses a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU plus a top-notch 32GB of RAM, so it's well suited to those who need a more powerful machine. It also has a very nice 16:10 (2560 x 1600) OLED display with a high 500-nit brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour reproduction. Just make sure you pay AU$11 extra when checking out for the upgraded 70Wh battery.
The IdeaPad Pro packs efficient performance with its AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 processor, 24GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD – all powered by a big 84Wh battery. It also includes premium features like an IR webcam for facial recognition and a large 16-inch, 120Hz, 2800 x 1800 OLED screen that boasts 100% DCI-P3 colour and a 500-nit brightness.

It also has a very nice 2880 x 1800 OLED display, a facial recognition webcam, Wi-Fi 7 and a 70Wh battery.
The Dell 16 Plus launched at AU$2,600, then dropped to AU$2,099 not long after, then AU$1698.40, and you can get it for AU$1,598.30 using the code FUTURE5% at checkout. That's not bad for this powerful laptop – especially since it has a 2560x1600 display, plus extras like Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and Wi-Fi 7.
This versatile 2-in-1 features the latest Series 2 Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor backed up by 32GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. You also get extras like an IR facial recognition webcam, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a decently large 70Wh battery. That's a lot of laptop for the money!
While the AU$3,798 launch RRP wasn't too appealing, the XPS 13 has gotten cheaper over time and recently dropped to AU$1,899.70. Then you can take an extra 13% off using the code FUTURE13% and score a great price for this premium Snapdragon X Elite 32GB RAM laptop with a 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen.
This mighty but slim laptop comes with an Intel Ultra 7 255H CPU paired with an Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU, plus 32GB of RAM. It's aimed at creators who need a powerful but still fairly portable machine and features a 16-inch 2880 x 1800 OLED display and a big 84Wh battery. Gaming laptop deals
This gaming laptop launched back in early June and has been AU$2,599.6 until recently, but has now dropped to AU$1,999.80. You can now also get an extra 13% off using the code FUTURE13% – bringing the price down to the lowest we have seen. This model only has a TGP of 80W, so it's slower than a 115W TGP RTX 5060, but it's still a reasonable deal for the specs if you want a more efficient but gaming capable machine with a big 16-inch, 2560 x 1600 120Hz display.
This powerful gaming machine has been discounted to AU$2,999 and for a limited time you can save an extra 10% using code FRENZY. This powerful gaming machine has been discounted to AU$3,599 and until midnight on November 14 you can save an additional 10% using the code FRENZY. While we have seen this exact machine slightly cheaper, it's still a reasonably good deal for a gaming laptop with a 12GB RTX 5070 Ti GPU, Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 CPU, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and a big 16-inch 2560 x 1600 / 240Hz / 3ms display.
