Somebody tell Lenovo that Black Friday is in November
June is turning out to be an unexpectedly great time to pick up a new laptop as the official Lenovo Store has just kicked off its 'Black Friday in June' sale.

I've been scanning through Lenovo's sale today to find my top picks, and in short, there are some really decent options. If you're a college student, a professional working from home, or a gamer looking for your next machine, then you could be in luck.
For a real bang-for-the-buck option, consider this Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 7 for $789 (was $1,089) with its Ryzen 7 chipset and 16GB of RAM. Another fantastic choice is the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 for $1,049 (was $1,479), which is very similar to the machine I use for work daily myself. You can read more about these laptops, and three other top picks, just below.
Today's sale at Lenovo arrives in a busy week for deals. Amazon's huge Prime Day sale is set to start tomorrow, but between you and me, I usually find Lenovo to be the more consistent retailer for own-brand machines. While you're here, make sure to use the code BUYMORELENOVO at checkout to get an additional discount of up to $100.

In terms of sheer bang for the buck, it's almost impossible to beat this ThinkBook 14 at the Lenovo sale today. While not one of the brand's higher-end machines, the combination of a lightweight design, 16GB of RAM, and Ryzen 7 chipset makes this one an incredible all-rounder for the money. I could see this one being a great option for college or working from home.

Here's another ThinkBook 14 deal, this time on the latest model in the range. Again, you get a really good all-rounder here thanks to the pairing of a Ryzen 7 chipset with 16GB of RAM. Performance-wise, I would expect similar things to the listing above here, but the overall design is a little more modern, and the chipset is a more up-to-date version.

The ThinkPads are well-regarded as business and professional laptops. In fact, I'm typing this page right now on a ThinkPad machine, so I can attest to their rock-solid reliability. This particular listing features a Ryzen 7 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, meaning it's a good option for everyday professional use.

A powerful chipset, stunning design, and high-end OLED display — what's not to love with the Yoga Slim 7x? This 14-inch machine really impressed us when we reviewed it, and while it's still quite pricey, today's discount at the official Lenovo Store really helps offset the blow. If you're looking for a special, high-end laptop, then this is a great option this week.

Of all of today's gaming laptop deals at Lenovo, this Legion 5a is my favorite. Yes, it's expensive for a machine with a mid-range RTX 5060 graphics card, but you get an impressive Ryzen 9 chipset to really make the most of it. The selling point here, however, is the Legion 5a's premium OLED display, which is a cut above the usual screens found on cheaper gaming laptops.
