It looks as though CBS has pulled out all the stops for the 50th series of a show that has now been on US screens for more than 25 years. As well as featuring a 24-strong cast of players who have all appeared in previous seasons, it has put their fate in the hands of the audience for the first time in Survivor history: from tribe colors and the frequency of twists, to the availability of rice and what tasks they'll face throughout the run.
Among the cast are the likes of Mike White – the genius mind by The White Lotus – and previous winners including Dee Valladares, Kyle Fraser and the most recently crowned Sole Survivor Savannah Louie from season 49. And CBS has also teased the appearance of some Survivor superfans, with Billie Eilish, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson all having a sway over what will happen in Fiji this time around.
