CBS has pulled out all the stops for the 50th season and for the first time in Survivor history, the audience is in charge – deciding tribe colors, frequency of twists, and even the availability of food. Having lost two players in the epic first episode (one medically evacuated, one voted out), episode 2 saw players try to make connections, reinforce their connections in the camp, and make life a little more comfortable in a reward challenge. The 'outwit' part of the show's mantra was also out in full force, with fake idols being planted and strategic allegiances being formed.
