Arsenal vs Bournemouth team news and preview

An imperious display in midweek saw Premier League leaders Arsenal restore their five-point cushion at the top of the standings, but it's been cut back down to two as they face Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium today. Gary O'Neil's men are 19th, but things are so congested at the foot of the table that they could realistically end the day as high as high as 16th.

Unfortunately for Cherries fans, Bournemouth's record against Arsenal is dismal. They've won just one of their 11 previous Premier League meetings, drawing two and losing eight, the most recent of those an ultra one-sided 3-0 defeat at the start of the season.

Having seen their team score four league goals since the turn of the year, supporters just want O'Neil to throw a little bit of caution to the winds. Jaiden Anthony caused chaos when he was eventually let loose against Man City last weekend, while Dango Ouattara and Hamed Traore have also looked promising when they've been allowed to venture further forward.

The Bournemouth formation doesn't look especially promising in that regard, with Dominic Solanke playing as an isolated lone striker, in front of a stodgy midfield. With Philip Billing and Joe Rothwell both likely to sit deep, it'll be up to Antoine Semenyo and Outtara to get up the field to give Solanke some support.

Arsenal were superb on Wednesday, making the most of their game in hand by dismantling Everton. With Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in this form, it's hard to see the Gunners letting up, but the impending return of midweek Europa League fixtures means they can't afford to take anything for granted.

Eddie Nketiah is out of action with a minor knock, so it's up to that aforementioned trio to get amongst the goals again today. They'll be supported by the forward-thinking midfield duo of Martin Odegaard and Fabio Vieira, while Thomas Partey will act as the anchor in the center of the park.

How to watch Arsenal vs Bournemouth from outside your country

We've set out how you can live stream Arsenal vs Bournemouth in a number of countries around the world. However, if you're away travelling for pleasure or for work, you probably won't be able to watch the game like you normally would at home. This is the result of geo-blocking - best understood as digital borders that restrict certain services and content to specific parts of the world.

The best VPN can let you get around these digital borders, while also offering robust protection from cybercriminals and government snooping. VPNs are also really easy to use.
