Arsenal host Crystal Palace this Sunday afternoon, with the big talking point being Eberechi Eze’s return to face his former club.

The 27-year-old was a talismanic figure for the Eagles after joining from QPR in 2020, but it was last season when he truly shone, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists as Palace went on to win the FA Cup. His performances earned him a £60 million move to Arsenal in August, and he has since slotted seamlessly into Mikel Arteta’s side. A delightful assist against Manchester City last month underlined the quality he brings, and it would be no surprise if he lights up the Emirates this Sunday.
