Vodafone’s iPhone 13 flash sale is the best deal going right now

If you’re looking to get your hands on the iPhone 13, now’s the time to do so, as Vodafone is offering a AU$300 discount across all storage variants of the device for one-week only, with the offer ending on April 13.

With Vodafone’s cheapest plan coming in at AU$40 a month for 40GB of data, you’ll pay as little as AU$83.70 a month if you sign up to the Lite plan and pay off the iPhone 13 over 24 months.

At that price, Vodafone’s mobile plans blow the competition out of the water. By comparison, you’d pay AU$111.20 a month with Telstra on a 24-month contract, or AU$101.19 a month with Optus over the same term.

Optus’ plan is also a clear AU$17.49 extra a month than what you’ll currently pay with Vodafone’s deal, and Optus will only get you half the data. The table below shows the monthly cost of the iPhone 13 with each of the telco’s entry-level plans on a 24-month contract.

There’s a small catch – you’ll need to pair the phone with a Vodafone plan and pay it off over 24 or 36 months to get the discount. Unfortunately, there’s no buying outright and pairing it with a cheap SIM-only plan. If you leave the service before your contract is up, you’ll have to pay out the remaining cost of the phone at the full RRP.

As mentioned, Vodafone’s deal is available on all storage variants and colours of the iPhone 13, including the new green colour option. We can’t recall seeing a significant discount on this colour previously, so jump on this if you’ve been holding out.

The iPhone 13 isn’t the only appealing phone discount Vodafone is running at present, either – if you’re an Android phone fan, you can also save AU$300 on the Google Pixel 6 Pro and AU$150 off the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which brings the device down to AU$849 all up.
