Prime Video's first monthly schedule of the new season is finally here, and as well as the return of one of the best Prime Video shows it's welcoming another chunky list of movies for your autumn movie nights.
Although its September 2025 schedule is slightly thinner than its list of August 2025 titles, that doesn't mean this month is lackluster. The platform is kicking things off with a slew of fresh movies, including apocalyptic thriller Children of Men (2006) and Marlon Brando classic Last Tango in Paris (1972).
But what makes Prime Video one of the best streaming services is its collection of original TV shows, and we can't wait for the return of The Boys spin-off series Gen V which comes back for season two after a two-year wait. Additionally, brand new drama series The Girlfriend looks like a promising new arrival packed with drama, suspense, and scandal – my three favorite words.
