We described it as “promising a lot for a little”, while also appreciating its “good 1080p performance” and “vibrant and bright display.” As a downside, it can get “quite hot in places” and you won’t be playing anything at max graphics settings, but both of these make perfect sense at this price.

It’s the solid 1080p performance which makes it worth pursuing, although, like even some of the best gaming laptops, you shouldn't count on good battery life.
