Best Sky TV deals: the cheapest Sky TV packages for new customers, upgrade offers and more

Sky 'Essential TV' package: from £15 per month at Sky
This is the cheapest Sky TV package available. It includes a Sky Stream device as well as access to 'Sky Atlantic', which airs Sky and HBO Originals through the Sky Stream streaming service, Netflix (its 'Standard with ads' tier), Discovery+ and over 100 free to air channels, such as BBC, ITV and Channel 4. This price is for a 24 month rolling contract but you can get it for £18 on a 31 day rolling contract too. Just note that the price will convert to £21 a month after the 24 months.

Sky 'Ultimate TV' package: from £22 per month at Sky
While it's a bit more expensive, you definitely get a lot more content for the extra £7 compared to the 'Essential TV' package. On top of 'Sky Atlantic', Netflix and Discovery+, Sky Stream and 90 free to air channels, this deal throws in 35 extra channels, such as 'Sky Comedy', 'Sky Crime', National Geographic and MTV. This monthly fee is for a 24 month rolling contract that will go up to £35 a month after the period, but you can also get it for £25 on a 31 day rolling contract.

Sky Glass Air and 'Essential TV': from £22 per month at Sky
Sign up to Sky Glass Air for £6 a month (on a 48 month contract), equip your home with Sky's state of the art smart TV, and save with this package. Get Sky TV Air, Sky Stream, Netflix, Discovery+ and more with the 'Essential TV' package, and pay from as little as £21 a month depending on the size of screen you go for (this price is for a 43-inch screen, which is £309 outright). Just note that there is a £20 upfront fee.

Sky Glass Gen 2 and 'Essential TV': from £29 per month at Sky
For just £14 a month on a 48 month contract, you can get the premium Sky Glass Gen 2 set in a 43-inch screen size, which would normally cost £699 to buy outright. As usual, there's the £20 upfront fee and option to combine it with one of the best Sky TV packages. The above deal price is for the 'Essential TV' package that starts at £15 per month. Like Sky Glass Air, there's also the option to add accessories like a TV wall mount to a package.

Sky Live (requires Sky Glass): from £6 per month at Sky
Make the most of your Sky Glass TV and get Sky Live, an interactive camera that allows you to play motion-controlled games, watch TV with others remotely, make phone calls and workout with fitness apps. The device costs £290 on its own or £6 on a 48 month contract or £12 on a 24 month contract. Just note that you'll need a Sky Glass TV, Sky TV subscription and broadband with minimum speeds of 30Mb/s for download.

Sky Q and Sky TV: from £32 per month at Sky
While it may seem counterintuitive to opt for a satellite setup, the Sky Q is still available to purchase on the Sky site. The company has said that it will support the box until 2029, so there's at least a few more years left in this option. This deal is for a 24 month contract and includes a £20 set up cost as well as access to Sky TV and Netflix's ad-supported tier, but you have the option to upgrade and customise your package.

Sky Sports package: from £20 per month at Sky
Get 9 dedicated sports channels, including Sports+, added onto your Sk Stream or Sky Glass package and pay just £20 more a month on top, locking in the price for 24 months or £27 for a 31 day rolling contract. This includes coverage of F1, Premier League, England Cricket and more. For pre-existing customers, this same sports package costs £22 per month for a 24 month contract.

TNT Sports package: from £28 per month at Sky
TNT Sports, which has the same content that BT Sports always offered, allows you to get the best of both worlds with sports from Sky and TNT in one package. You can add it for an additional £28 a month Sky Stream or Sky Glass contact or £31 per month on a 31 day rolling contract for pre-existing customers. You'd be getting access to exclusive Premier League games, every match of the UEFA European Club and FA Cup, as well as rugby, tennis and more.

Sky Cinema package: from £10 per month at Sky
Existing customers can add Sky Cinema to their Sky TV package for an additional £16 a month on a 31 day rolling contract. If you're a new customer, you can get it for a discounted £10 on a 24 month contract or £13 on a 31 day rolling contract. With a new premiere every day, over 1000 other films to choose from and two free Vue cinema tickets every month, Sky Cinema is great for movie fans. Don't forget, it also throws in a standard with ads subscription to Paramount+ (saving you £4.99 a month)

Sky Kids package: from £6 per month at Sky
Keep the kids entertained after school and add Sky Kids to your Sky TV package for just £6 a month on a 31 day rolling contract. Just note that after 24 months the price will convert to £8 per month, which is the same cost for existing customers. This package grants access to nine live channels, including Nickelodeon. Don't worry about them hogging the TV though as you can also have up to 10 individual profiles on the Sky Kids app with shows tailored to the age of your little ones.

Netflix 'Standard' no ads package: from £6 per month at Sky
If you've signed up for either the Sky 'Essential' or 'Ultimate' TV packages, then you'll get a Netflix 'Standard' with ads subscription included at no extra cost. However. if you'd like to upgrade your subscription to the 'Standard' without ads or 'Premium' tiers, then you'll have to spend £6 or £11 a month, respectively. If you're already subscribed to Netflix, then your next bill will be transferred to Sky.

Sky UHD and Dolby Atmos add-on: from £6 per month at Sky
This is one of the most essential add-ons to any Sky TV package. If you have a ultra high definition TV that supports Dolby Atmos, you'll want to upgrade to UHD and enjoy all Sky broadcasts and streams with four times more detail than the standard high definition pictures. If you want the best screen quality, I recommend getting this add-on.

Sky 'Whole Home' add-on: from £12 per month at Sky Spread the streaming love and watch Sky TV simultaneously on four more screens around the home with a discounted saving for existing customers who don't currently have this extra on their plan. Just note that after 24 months, the ongoing price will be £15 a month. This is ideal for anyone who wants to be able to enjoy Sky on multiple devices.

Sky 'Ad Skipping' add-on: from £5 a month at Sky
This is by far the best add-on you can get if you can't stand commercials. With 'Ad Skipping', you can skip ads on Playlist, on-demand content and live content you've paused or restarted across ITVX, STV Player, All4 and My5 apps (however, you won't be able to do this on YouTube or Netflix). Just note that the £5 price will convert to £6 after 24 months, but there's no minimum term plan.

Sky Full Fibre broadband 300Mbps and Sky TV: from £37 per month at Sky
For 24 months, get fast and reliable speeds of 300Mbps with Sky's Full Fibre broadband, the Sky Stream puck, Sky 'Essential' TV and Netflix 'Standard with ads' subscription, all for just £37 a month. What's even better is that there's no longer a setup fee, making this the cheapest broadband and Sky TV package available.

Sky Full Fibre broadband 900Mbps and Sky TV: from £50 per month at Sky
If you'd prefer a very fast broadband speed that can support multiple streaming devices and low latency for gaming, then the 900Mpbs Full Fibre broadband package is your best bet. This is essentially the same Sky TV package as the above but with a higher broadband speed with the option to of course to upgrade the Netflix plan or add different TV packs.

Sky Full Fibre broadband 5Gbps and Sky TV: from £50 per month at Sky
This is the most expensive Sky TV and broadband package that you can buy, but that's because you're getting ultra-fast upload and download speeds. Think lightening fast connections, seamless streaming and instaneous gaming. Again, this deal throws in the same Sky TV products and services like the above, including a Sky Stream, Sky 'Essential' TV and Netflix.
