Who created Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing?

Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing was created as an original **British reality format by UK indie producer 72 Films, the creative team behind it led by executive producers David Glover, Tim Whitwell and Tom Clarke — commissioned by Channel 4 as a fresh social‑experiment competition pushing strangers to stay yoked together 24/7 for a £100,000 prize.

The conceit reportedly drew inspiration from the mismatched‑companions energy of the 1987 film Midnight Run — but reimagined as a structured TV format rather than a scripted caper.
