The faithful Traitor approach didn't work out for Fiona, the traitorous Faithful ploy left Matthew with egg on his face, and the Secret Traitor twist went badly for everyone involved. However, being a dead-eyed, cold-blooded killer has worked out nicely for Rachel, who some are already hailing as the best Traitor in the show's history. But will she fall before the season finale?

Hugo and Fiona were uncloaked and banished from the grounds of Ardross Castle early on, but approaching the finale juncture, there are still another two at large, murdering Faithfuls nightly under the cover of darkness. However, a tie between Rachel and James means we won't find out who are finalists are until the start of the finale itself.
Although the Secret Traitor twist fell flat on its face, it's at least saved us from having to navigate the second half of the series with only one villain. Rachel and Stephen have so far gone undetected, and they've each successfully ridden out some choppy waters. The head of comms saw off Fiona, who effectively took one for the team, while the cybersecurity consultant has outlasted his nemesis and fan-favorite Jessie.
However, at the 11th hour young Faraaz has cracked it. The internal auditor reckons Rachel and Stephen are up to no good, and has now officially accused the head of comms. With the heat on, Rachel was ready to sell Stephen out, but he talked her out of it and was loyal to her at the roundtable. We're not sure it would have been reciprocated.
