I've tested all the latest Samsung Galaxy phones and I say skip the Galaxy S25 - the real Black Friday choice is between the Edge and Ultra
If you've been disappointed by the Samsung Galaxy S25 deals so far this Black Friday deals shopping season, maybe a different S25 model will get you a better discount!
I've tested all of the latest Galaxy S25 phones, from the powerful base model through the thin new Galaxy S25 Edge up to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, one of my favorite camera phones of all time.
All of the Galaxy S25 family of phones proved to be excellent mobile computers in my tests, with the incredibly powerful and battery-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset running the show. Based on my weeks of using these phones in the real world, I can attest you won't finder faster, more feature-complete phones, and they are perfect for business users and gamers alike.

The Galaxy S25 is on sale now for $674.99, down from its average price of around $715 and the it's only £599 in the UK, down from an average around £785. That's not the lowest price I've seen, not by a long shot - the Galaxy S25 has been as low as $574.99 on Amazon. It's still a very good price, so if you need a phone right now, don't hesitate to pick one up. However, it may be smart to wait.
The Galaxy S25 Edge might be the best bargain of them all
Yes, even the Galaxy S25 Edge, the much-maligned new thin Galaxy phone, which may be the best deal you can find on a Galaxy right now. The S25 Edge is only $819.99 on Amazon, which is close to its average but well below its $1,099.99 launch price. In the UK, the Galaxy S25 has hit an all-time low price of £749, down from an average of £965.
In my testing, the Galaxy S25 Edge was a powerhouse phone with excellent cooling, making it a great fit for gamers, if you don't mind plugging it in a bit more often.
There's still more time before the shopping season peaks, so we may see a further discounts. Samsung usually launches its next model in January, but we've heard the schedule could be pushed back this year, so it's possible this phone might get another discount in January, as shelves clear to make way for the Galaxy S26.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is a powerful phone that performed incredibly well in my performance and battery testing. This is no entry level phone, this is a pocket powerhouse with tons of software features that are great for professionals and gamers alike. This is a very good deal on the S25, though it's not the lowest price we've seen, so keep checking back if you want to save even more.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is thin and incredibly light, but that doesn't mean it isn't just as capable as the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. It packs the same powerful and efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor inside, and it has fantastic cooling to keep the phone chugging along through hours of gameplay or video recording. The 200MP sensor makes this a surprisingly good camera phone as well, unlike Apple's thin competitor. This is a great deal, one of the best discounts you'll find on any Galaxy S25 series device, especially if you opt for the 512GB model.

I haven't seen a better UK price for this Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. The Edge is thin and incredibly light, but it's just as capable as the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. It packs the same powerful and efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor inside, and it has fantastic cooling to keep the phone chugging along through hours of gameplay or video recording. The biggest discount among the Galaxy S25 family is sadly attached to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Starting at such a high price, there's more room to come down.
In the UK, the Galaxy S25 Ultra can be yours for only £999, an all-time low price.
In the US, the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 512GB of storage is only $1,019.99 on Amazon right now. That's an all-time low price for the Ultra with a storage bump, and it's $150 lower than the average US price on Amazon. Every Galaxy is on sale, but that's the best deal of the bunch.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: free storage upgrade and $450 off at Samsung
Samsung's Black Friday deal on the excellent Galaxy S25 is the best I've seen yet. Not only do you get a free storage upgrade, but the official retailer is also offering the choice between a $450 upfront discount or a trade-in rebate of up to $750 off. While the trade-in rebate is a long way off from the record-high of around $1,000, the upfront discount here is an incredible deal on this device and enough to bring it down to just $850. Combined with the storage upgrade? Yep, this is a fantastic deal.
