The 2026 World Snooker Championship live streams represent the end of the 2025/26 snooker season and the world's best players will again descend the iconic Crucible Theater in Sheffield for the biggest prize in baize.

Principal among those hoping the curse lives up to its billing will be Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan. Trump, the 2019 winner has been consistent all season, while the Rocket is seeking a record eighth world title to go past the great Stephen Hendry, but has only played occasionally all season.

Fellow Class of 92 members with O'Sullivan, John Higgins and Mark Williams will also look to go deep. If the latter wins his first-round match, he'll face O'Sullivan in the last 16. Williams' fellow Welshman Matthew Stevens, a former runner-up, has qualified.

This will be the first BBC tournament since the death of legendary commentator John Virgo, so expect plenty of eulogies and questions of 'where's the cue ball going?'.
