VPN deal of the week: Cyberghost has dropped to only $1.75 per month, cheaper than ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and Surfshark – pick up this cut-price security tool to protect your identity on your tablet, smartphone, or TV while it's at its 2026 rock bottom.
CyberGhost hasn't done much this year, but now it's brought its prices down to a point we can't ignore.
Plans currently start from $1.75/month on a two-year plan, with two months extra thrown in. That means for $45.50 you get VPN protection for 26 months — cheaper than Surfshark ($48.06), ExpressVPN ($63.52), and NordVPN ($83.43).
CyberGhost has been a name in the VPN industry for around 15 years, having launched in 2011. Since then, it's amassed over 38 million users worldwide and has been a constant name in the hat when considering the best VPNs out there, thanks to its security and customization.
CyberGhost should also get some kudos for its plans. Not only is it one of the few VPNs to offer a six-month option, though this will rarely be better value than its two-year plan, it also offers a larger, 45-day money-back guarantee. So, if you're unsure, you get longer than most VPNs will offer to make up your mind.
CyberGhost: from $1.75/month for 2 years ($45.50)
CyberGhost is a veteran VPN with security credentials to match some of the best VPNs out there. With its new, cheap price, you're able to get access to:
📱 7 simultaneous connections
🌍 Servers in 124 locations
📺 Streaming-optimized server locations
📞 24/7 customer support
⚡️ WireGuard speeds over 600 Mbps
What's more, CyberGhost offers a larger 45-day money-back guarantee. So, if you're unsure, you've got longer to decide if you want your money back.
Where CyberGhost could improve is its connections. 7 devices is low before you consider that it's devices rather than connections. This means if you've registered 7 devices to your account, you need to remove one before you can connect a new device, regardless of whether any of the registered devices are using the VPN.
It's also not stacked with features. While it's got more settings customization than almost any VPN, for extras such as antivirus you end up needing an add-on that suddenly makes CyberGhost one of the more expensive VPNs out there.
If you're after a more complete package, a Surfshark One plan is the way to go. It's normally around $2.19/month (circa $60 upfront), but packs antivirus, identity protection tools, and more into the deal. That said, you won't get as much freedom to set up the VPN how you want it as you would with CyberGhost.
