If you find that most tablets just aren’t big enough for your needs, perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra might be the tablet that you’re looking for – and it’s 50% off too!

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra features a huge 14.6-inch screen that can rival most laptops, but it’s still comparatively more portable because it doesn’t have the extra bulk of a keyboard.

Our Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra review found the huge display to be the device’s best feature, with the tester saying it would “knock your socks off”. We also named it the best tablet for drawing.

The main criticism from our reviewer was the premium price, given that it has a MediaTek processor instead of a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, but there’s still plenty of grunt under the hood for most people’s needs. Moreover, at half price, the 256GB model is fantastic value right now – available from JB Hi-Fi for just AU$1,049.

That four-figure discounted price is admittedly still steep, but it’s cheaper than getting yourself a similarly specced iPad, for instance. And even though its processor won’t keep up with, say, an M3 iPad or a new Intel laptop, it will take care of plenty, including some multitasking. And, honestly, at this price point, it’s hard to complain when you get a lot of screen real estate and some waterproofing to boot.

Included in the box of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is an S-pen, so you wouldn't need to shell out an extra few hundred dollars on a stylus (looking at you, Apple). It also has a microSD expansion slot, where you can add up to 2TB of extra storage, adding to its value proposition.

The tablet also has an IP68 rating, meaning it’s water resistant enough to be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, so you could realistically use the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra in a bathtub, pool, or any wet environment – just keep it away from seawater.

Samsung’s software is also better suited for productivity compared to the likes of the iPad Pros, with our reviewer finding that it was easier to multitask and open multiple windows with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It’s also easier to connect to an external monitor to further reinforce the laptop-replacement use case.

Don’t need a new tablet? JB Hi-Fi is also flogging a lot of Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S25 series ahead of the upcoming S26 launch. Take a look at what’s on offer in JB Hi-Fi’s February Frenzy sale.
