I won’t go anywhere without this dual USB-C travel charger, and if you get this Black Friday deal, you won’t either
If you're going to find yourself travelling a lot this holiday season, then I've got a personal recommendation for a tech upgrade deal you should jump on without waiting for Black Friday to start properly. I use UGreen's 45W dual-port USB-C charger every day, and it's one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. And today, you can get this UGreen charger for $21.99 (was $35.99) at Amazon US, or you can get it for £17.99 (was £29.99) at Amazon UK.

It's a small thing, but it makes life so much easier. I take one charger – with folding prongs, so it's nice and compact – when I travel, and I can juice up two things at once, and everything's USB-C, so it's all swappable between devices. At 45W of juice, it can charge my MacBook Air (30W) and phone (15W) at the same time. Zero charging anxiety, lighter carrying, happier travels – and you don't need to wait for Black Friday deals to get a great price.

Small size, plenty of power for the essentials, including laptops, as long as they're not big pro-level beasts. This model has been a couple of bucks cheaper in the past, but I think it's still a great value at this price. There is a slightly larger and heavier model that's cheaper than this, and includes a USB-A port as well, so you might be tempted by that instead (but I don't need the USB-A, so I'd stick with the slightly smaller one). But here's that deal:

A compact cube of power to take anywhere with you, and with folding prongs so it doesn't use much space, and sturdy build quality that can survive travel easily. This is as cheap as this model has ever been.
The big benefit of this is that it's just less to think about. I throw it in my bag with a couple of USB-C cables (and my Apple Watch charger) and I'm good for staying juiced up anywhere, no planning required. And it's great for work travel, since I can quickly charge two things at once without needing to find two outlets in places where it can be hard enough to find one.
It also means that in another country, I only need to take one travel adapter with me, again saving space.
It would be patently ridiculous to say that this thing has changed my life or anything, but… well, I travel a lot, so it kind of has, even if just a little bit. It removes stress, which is what tech upgrades are really supposed to be doing in our lives.
If I lost mine, I wouldn't go back to using a couple of the single-port chargers I have lying around; I'd be straight online to buy a replacement.
You can get more powerful versions, or ones with more ports, but I think this hits the sweet spot for being more portable and more useful.
