You'll be able to easily compare big carrier deals alongside smaller networks, as well as your current options for unlocked devices.
First up, this week's best iPhone 16 deals in the US include some superb options for getting a device free. Depending on your eligibility, you'll easily be able to get a free device if you're willing to go with one of the pricier plans at one of the major carriers. Not willing to spend a ton each month? I'd recommend checking out this week's deals from prepaid carriers, which are usually a bit pricier upfront but can equate to cheaper costs in the long run.
We've also made sure to include the UK's best iPhone 16 deals just down below, which include a handy comparison chart so you can get exactly the kind of tariff you're looking for. In addition to reasonably priced plans, several networks are also offering compelling trade-in rebates so be sure to check those out, too.
Finally, if you're looking for an in-depth overview of these devices, I'd recommend our hands-on iPhone 16 review, iPhone 16 Plus review, iPhone 16 Pro review, and iPhone 16 Pro Max review pages, all of which are being worked on as we speak.
Best Apple iPhone 16 deals in the US
Apple iPhone 16: free with a new unlimited line at Verizon
Verizon's deals on the latest iPhone 16 series have annoyingly been pared back a little in recent weeks, but there are still good options, thankfully. For example, you can still get the standard iPhone 16 for free right now alongside a new line on any unlimited plan without the need for a trade. Since the eligibility here covers Verizon's entry-level Welcome unlimited plan, this is a flexible offer that's good even if you're looking to save on your plan.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with an unlimited plan and trade-in at Verizon
Looking to trade-in? Verizon's current deal on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are currently offering a maximum rebate of up to $1,000 off, That's technically enough to get the standard 16 Pro for free, although note you will still need a line on an unlimited plan to be eligible for the discount. We've also seen Verizon give the device away for free without a trade-in before so this isn't the best-ever deal on the device. It's still pretty good, though.
Apple iPhone 16: free with a switch at T-Mobile
T-Mobile's current iPhone 16 deal is simply a great all-around option at the carrier if you're looking to switch. Right now, new customers can pair up the standard iPhone 16 alongside one of the carrier's 24-month unlimited plans and get the device for free without the need for a trade-in. Note, if you'd prefer to trade-in, then you can also currently get up to $1,000 off either the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max right now.
Apple iPhone 16 series: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in, plus $200 off when you order online at AT&T
AT&T's iPhone 16 deals have remained strong these past few months with excellent discounts across the entire range. For example, not only can you get a massive trade-in rebate of up to $1,000 on the Pro devices right now but AT&T is also throwing in an additional $200 saving in bill credits when you order online. All in all, a strong option with the only serious caveat being that an unlimited plan is required.
Apple iPhone 16 series: save up to $650 off with a trade-in at Apple
Looking for unlocked iPhone 16 deals? Unfortunately you're pretty limited as Apple is the sole retailer for brand new devices without the usual carrier plan. It's not all bad news, however, as the official Apple Store runs its own trade-in program that you can use to get up to $650 off any of the devices in the new iPhone 16 range. This isn't a ground-breaking deal by any stretch of the imagination, but it's enough to get a significant discount without signing up for a three-year plan so we'll take it.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro: phone and unlimited data plan for $65/mo at Boost Mobile
One of the best iPhone 16 deals on the market right now is the Boost Infinite Access for iPhone plan - an all-inclusive option at the prepaid carrier that bundles up a device and unlimited plan for just $65/mo. The device in question here is the excellent iPhone 16 Pro so this is an exceptional deal overall if you're happy to go with a more basic unlimited plan versus the usual options at the major carriers. Other devices in the iPhone 16 range are also available with the Boost Infinite Access for iPhone plan but you'll have to pay a bit extra for the Pro Max in particular.
Apple iPhone 16 series: $150 rebate with plan at Red Pocket
Red Pocket could be another good choice for iPhone 16 deals this week if you're looking to pair up your device with a cheap prepaid plan. Right now, both new and existing customers can get a decent $150 rebate after three months if they pick up a device alongside an autopay plan. Overall, not an amazing deal considering Red Pocket was offering $300 off in the initial preorders phase but still one of the more cost-effective options on the market currently considering how cheap this carrier's plans are.
- T-Mobile: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in and plan

What are the key features for the iPhone 16?
- New A18 and A18 Pro chips
- Massive focus on new AI-integrated features
- 48MP "Fusion" camera
- Physical camera control function
Both the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro represent fairly substantial upgrades compared to the previous models. From the new A18 series chips built from the ground up for AI integration to the improved cameras, these devices offer plenty of enticing new features.
First up, the A18 Series chipsets come with the debut of 'Apple Intelligence', which, as the name suggests, is a whole suite of new AI features across the entire range of existing Apple apps. Think ChatGPT-like language models for texts or emails, image and emoji generators, and a new 'Visual Intelligence' app that is just like Google Lens.
In terms of hardware, the iPhone 16 series not only features new chipsets but also an improved camera with a new physical camera control button that directly interacts with the camera app. Apple is calling the new 48MP main camera the 'Fusion camera' since it can seamlessly switch between high-resolution images and more storage-friendly images, plus Stereoscopic capture for Apple Vision Pro.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max feature slightly bigger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays with slimmer bezels versus their predecessors. The main upgrades for the Pro models this year include the option for 4K video at 120FPS (perfect for slow motion) as well as the usual 48MP wide angle lens and 5x telephoto (12MP and 2x on the standard iPhone 16).
