Since April 1, 2026, it’s safe to say space has been top of mind — and following along with the crew of Artemis II has been nothing short of incredible. From the first-ever iPhone selfies taken in orbit to the anticipation building around today’s lunar flyby, it’s felt like a front-row seat to history in the making.
And it had me thinking — didn’t Lego make an Artemis set? They did. And not only is it surprisingly affordable and in stock, but it’s also impressively interactive, featuring a Technic crank that lets you recreate the three stages of launch.
So I went down the rabbit hole of Lego sets within the Space theme, and was reminded of how many the brick brand has made. Many stay with realism, including the Artemis, the Milky Way Galaxy, and even the Mars Rover Perseverance. There are, of course, some fun ones as well.
So I’ve put together a quick list of space-themed Lego sets — including Artemis II — that should spark a little inspiration, whether you’re building with kids or just channeling a bit of that launch-day excitement yourself.
