Apple iPhone 17 Pro: free with a trade-in and new line, plus free Apple Watch and iPad at Verizon
There are multiple big carrier deals on the latest iPhone 17 series that I'd call excellent today, but I think Verizon's current offer is the one to beat. Right now, you can get an impressive trade-in rebate of up to $1,100 off alongside a new line on the Ultimate plan. While that comes with the obvious caveat that this is the priciest plan, the rebate here is enough to cover the entire cost of the iPhone 17 Pro. On top of that, you can also get a $200 bonus for switching, and a free iPad and Apple Watch 11 as gifts. Note, however, that those free accessories still require cellular lines.

✅ You don't mind a pricey unlimited plan

Apple iPhone Air: free with a switch and unlimited data plan at T-Mobile
You can get the new iPhone Air for free with a trade-in at both Verizon and T-Mobile right now, but only the latter has a decent non-trade-in option on the device. Granted, you'll need to switch over to be eligible, but this particular deal will get you a great rebate over the duration of a 24-month plan without having to hand over an older device.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with a new unlimited data line at Verizon
Another incredible Verizon iPhone deal this week. You can also get the iPhone 16 Pro for free on a new unlimited line without a trade-in. Unlike the above deal on the iPhone 17 Pro, this promo is eligible on all of the carrier's MyPlan unlimited plans, meaning you can pair up the iPhone 16 Pro with one of the cheaper plans rather than the super-high Ultimate plan.

Buy it if:
✅ You want a high-end device.
✅ ... But you don't want a super pricey unlimited plan

Apple iPhone 16e: $5.99/mo with an unlimited plan, plus $200 in bill credits at AT&T
AT&T's current promo on the iPhone 16e is one of the strongest on the carrier's site right now. No trade-ins are needed to get this device for just $6/mo alongside an unlimited data plan right now and you can also get a nifty $200 bonus if you order a device online. The $200 in question here can only be redeemed toward bill credits but it's still a great extra for cutting those pricey plan costs down to size. Note, another absolutely superb option at AT&T today is the iPhone 16 Plus, which is available under the same terms for just $10.99/mo currently.

Apple iPhone 17: up to $700 off with a trade-in at Apple
For the first time ever, I'm recommending our readers buy a brand-new iPhone directly from the Apple Store. Usually, Apple's deals are extremely questionable, but I think it makes sense this time around. First up, the $700 maximum trade-in rebate on the new iPhone 17 is a decent discount for an unlocked device. Secondly, I believe the iPhone 17 is one of the best value iPhones the brand has released in years. At $799, it's $100 more expensive than the iPhone 16, but you get double the storage, much better cameras, and a more powerful chipset. It's totally worth it, in my opinion.

Apple iPhone 13: free with a new plan at Total Wireless
If you're really on a budget, you could consider picking up a free iPhone 13 at Total Wireless. This carrier, as well as its competitor Metro are both offering this older device for free with a new line right now, and both offer relatively cheap prepaid plans. If you can trade-in, I'd probably recommend buying a device outright at Apple since you'll have more options for carriers, but both these deals are pretty great if you're looking to save as much cash as possible.
