Okay so while Apple doesn't exactly make budget phones or have any 'affordable ranges', there are still a few devices that have fallen in price. Below we've listed the best cheap iPhones ranging from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6S so you can find your perfect cheap iPhone deal.
The 2015 edition was and is simply stunning

It looks very similar to the iPhone 6 below, but it's got a new '3D touch' screen which allows you to do different things depending how hard you press on it, plus a new camera, faster processor and a stronger frame. It's pretty cheap as well, perfect for those wanting cheap iPhone deals.

The iPhone 6S Plus is very similar to the iPhone 6S above but it's bigger and, some would say, better. Some will find the bigger size inconvenient but for iPhone users who have looked on enviously at all those gorgeous Android phablets out there, this is the phone for you. The screen is big enough that you won't be reaching for your iPad as much. There are few reasons to upgrade from an iPhone 6 Plus to this phone, but if you're on an older model and you want some brilliant cheap plus sized iPhone deals, this is definitively it.

iPhone deals FAQ
When is the next iPhone coming out?
We're all waiting patiently and soon we will have the latest Apple device. The iPhone 11 is expected to be launched in mid-September this year. Reports suggest that it will cost around the same amount as the iPhone XS from last year.
2019 has been a year packed with a lot of impressive phones - the Note 10, Huawei P30 Pro, S10 series - so Apple will have a lot to compete with when the iPhone 11 drops.
If iPhone deals in the past are anything to go by, this won't be a cheap iPhone but luckily, it should mean other iPhones come shooting down in price.
Are refurbished iPhones any good?
Looking to bag a cheap iPhone? Refurbished could well be the way to go. When you invest in a refurbished iPhone, you're looking to save a good few hundred pounds. Everything from the iPhone XS Max to the iPhone 6S can be found through refurbs.
There is a certain stigma about iPhone deals that come refurbished. People expect a phone covered in fingerprints and weird marks you can't quite place. Luckily, most of these issues don't actually occur on refurbished devices.
The large majority of second-hand phones have simply been bought and returned in a few weeks. Also, most iPhone deals coming to you refurbished have a 12 month warranty.
How can I get a cheap iPhone?
iPhone deals aren't exactly notorious for their affordability, however there are still a few ways to land a smaller price tag with Apple. The most obvious option is to go for an older device. Cheap iPhone 7 deals could land you monthly bills in the £20 area. Or even iPhone 8 contracts don't cost too much now.
But, if you want your cheap iPhone to look, feel and act like a flagship - things get a little bit harder. To score a cheap iPhone XR, iPhone XS or XS Max, the most obvious way is refurbished.
Getting yourself a refurbished iPhone could save you in the ranges of £100-200 overall. Despite what is the common place thinking, refurbished iPhones aren't broken or dirty, in fact they are usually just returned within 2 weeks of their purchase.
What is the best iPhone right now?
An arguably subjective question but in a way there is a correct answer. Which iPhone you should go for completely depends on what you need from a device. Below we've listed all of the main iPhones with who they will appeal to most.
- iPhone XR: For those wanting one of Apple's newest, spec-heavy phones without pouring away their life savings.
- iPhone XS Max: For the most die-hard phone fans, the iPhone XS Max doesn't come cheap by any standard but it is the best that Apple can give.
- iPhone 8: A perfect middle-ground between price and specs, the iPhone 8 is for those wanting a relatively new iPhone at a decent price tag.
- iPhone 8 Plus: It's not as new as the iPhone XS Max or as impressively designed. However, it is a similar size and costs far less.
- iPhone 7: iPhone deals aren't cheap. But, with an iPhone 7, you can land an iPhone at its more affordable price.
When is the best time to buy an iPhone deal?
Like a lot of the other questions here, there isn't an exact answer but there are certain times that can offer better prices on Apple's phones.
- New releases: Like all other phones, when a new iPhone comes out we frequently see the other devices in Apple's arsenal come down in price. The iPhone 11 is set to drop in September so expect to see some savings around then.
- Black Friday: The yearly mega sale, Black Friday can be the perfect time to get iPhone deals. Every year we see phones come crashing down in price and we'll be shouting out the best offers to grab when the time comes back around.
- Amazon Prime Day: Amazon's impressive sale for Prime Subscribers, we almost always see a load of cheap iPhones appear during this two day sale.
- Absolutely any day: Realistically, there isn't any specific time or place that is best for getting a new iPhone deal. There are price cuts, promotions and major discounts every day and you just have to catch them as they happen. Luckily, we will be catching all of them as they appear and gathering them in our chart at the top of this page.
What is the cheapest iPhone?
Due to prices going up and down constantly, it is hard to give an exact choice. The cheapest iPhones tend to be the iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 7. However, for those wanting the cheapest iPhone on contract, the iPhone SE isn't a great choice, not really available from most retailers anymore.
Combining decent specs and affordable pricing, we would recommend the iPhone 7 for the best cheapest iPhone deals.
Is the iPhone XR or iPhone XS better value for money?
For those wanting a new flagship iPhone deal but can't quite stomach the pricing of the iPhone XS Max, it comes down to two options - the iPhone XS and iPhone XR. It's a simple question really, would you prefer the more affordable option with lower specs or the more expensive, more impressive option.
While the iPhone XR offers the best iPhone battery on the market and considerably drops the price below the iPhone XS, it is the weaker option overall - camera, processor and screen included.
