Best Buy's latest gaming laptop deals offer up to $450 off the latest RTX 5070 and 5060 models
Barely a few months after release, these latest models are tumbling in price

Late August isn't typically known for deals on gaming laptops, but Best Buy has some excellent choices right now - especially if you're looking for a price cut on one of the latest RTX 5000 series models.
Right now, for example, you can get this Gigabyte Aero X16 with an RTX 5070 graphics card for just $1,299 (was $1,649), which seems like an incredible deal to me considering this configuration is brand new. Under the hood, you're getting not just an RTX 5070, but also a Ryzen 7 350 chipset, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD, which are extremely impressive at this price point.
Another highlight today is the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for $1,349 (was $1,799) at Best Buy. This is one I always include when it's on sale because it's a model that we've always highly rated (and loved) here at TechRadar. At 14 inches, it's the perfect college, work, and gaming laptop - and you also get an RTX 5060 and AMD Ryzen 9 chipset for good measure.
If you're a college student about to head out for your first semester, then either one of these machines is a decent buy right now. I've also attached a few more great gaming laptop deals from Best Buy in more detail just down below.
An excellent RTX 5070 gaming laptop deal
Graphics card: RTX 5070
Processor: AMD Ryzen Al 7 350
RAM: 32GB DDR5 RAM
Storage: 1TB SSD
The Gigabyte Aero X16 is a new model that we haven't tested, but it looks to be a fantastic premium RTX 5070 gaming laptop. At $1,299, it's hard to go wrong here considering you're getting a brand-new RTX 5070 graphics card and 32GB of RAM. This is, by far, one of the cheapest RTX 5070 gaming laptops I've seen so far, too.
Other superb gaming laptop deals at Best Buy
Graphics card: RTX 5060
Processor: Intel Core i7-13620H
RAM: 32GB DDR5 RAM
Storage: 1TB SSD
A $200 price cut makes this Gigabyte A16 a solid buy if you're on the hunt for a decent bang-for-the-buck 1080p gaming machine. With an RTX 5060 graphics card and 32GB of RAM, this one should have no issues running even the most demanding titles smoothly - and, by my estimation, it's easily one of the cheapest RTX 5060 gaming laptops I've seen yet.
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 5060
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 270
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 1TB SSD
Right now at Best Buy, you can get a massive $450 discount on the latest Asus G14 - an excellent lightweight and powerful laptop that's perfect for gamers headed off to college. With an RTX 5060 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, you've got plenty of power under the hood here for a smooth gaming experience. On top of that, this machine also features a stunning 3K OLED display, which is fantastic for movies or just everyday use.
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 5070
Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 1TB SSD
Last, but certainly not least, if you're looking for an RTX 5070 gaming laptop that also features a gorgeous design and top-notch display, consider this massive price cut on the latest Asus G16 at Best Buy. This one is a little bigger than the G14, but it's still a slick, lightweight laptop that will definitely turn heads. Unfortunately, though, it does only feature 16GB of RAM, which is un-upgradable on this particular model.
